summary - The five times you heard Andrew sing and the first time the whole world did.

-----

The first time you heard Andrew sing was in the car. You were driving back from his parents' house after a nice dinner, and you were scanning stations on the radio when some song you half recognized came on. Andrew was quick to stop the scanner and turn the volume of the song slightly up -but not so loud that you couldn't hear his voice as well. "If I ever lose my eyes, if my colors all run dry. Yes if I ever lose my eyes, oh if, I won't have to cry no more. Yes, I'm being followed by a moonshadow. Moonshadow, moonshadow. Leaping and hopping on a moonshadow. Moonshadow, moonshadow."

You got to a stop light and couldn't help but turn your head to look at him. He was scrolling through his phone absentmindedly, and you weren't even sure he realized he was singing, but it was one of those moments where he looked so relaxed and so content that it made your heart swell. You leaned over the middle counsel and placed a kiss to his cheek, watching with amusement as his skin turned pink and he looked up at you.

"What was that for?" he asked.

"Andrew Garfield," you said in a teasing tone, "I didn't know you could sing."

"I can't," he said with a laugh.

"Sounded like you were just singing to me," you countered. The light turned green, so you turned your attention back out the front windshield. The song continued to play, but Andrew didn't sing a word. "No, don't stop just because I said something!" you whined.

"Now you've made me all embarrassed!" he said back with a chuckle.

"Don't!" you said. "Please Andrew? For me?"

But, the radio announcer effectively ended your pleas.

"And that was 'Moonshadow' by Cat Stevens!" he said.

"Aw shit," Andrew said dramatically. "Guess I missed my chance!"

He pressed the scan button on the radio again, and you just rolled your eyes and let him win the battle.

The second time you heard Andrew sing was when he was in the shower. You were sure he didn't even realize he was doing it, because you noticed he had become very careful about not letting you hear him sing after the first time you caught him. It didn't make any sense to you. He really did have a nice voice. Maybe nothing award-winning, but it was good. Hell, everything he did was good. That was just who he was.

He had just spent the night and was showering that morning before heading off to filming reshoots for one of his newest movies. As you walked up to the door, about to knock and ask him if he wanted some coffee, you stopped upon hearing his voice.

"We could have been anything that we wanted to be. Yes, that decision was ours. It's been decided. We're weaker divided. Let friendship double up our powers."

You put a hand to your mouth to stifle a laugh. This man and his Bugsy Malone. You couldn't help but pull your phone out of your pocket and open up the camera, hitting the record button. As quietly as you could, you opened the door to the bathroom and peaked in, holding in your giggles as he kept singing with as much fervor and passion as he could.

Unfortunately for you, you let out a little snort that alerted Andrew to your presence. He pulled back the curtain a bit -shampoo-covered head fully on display- with an accusatory look on his face. "You bastard!" he said with a laugh, wagging a finger at you. "Delete that footage!"
