Sumary: Evan works at the coffee shop you frequent.

It was by far the most restless week of my life. I had three exams, two work interviews and piles of homework. Plus: my car was broken, so I had to travel almost one hour in a bus full of people, every single morning.

But, finally, it was Friday.

When I left the university, I couldn't wait to go home and sleep for days... but when I arrived I found my roommate, Megan, working on her project. She was studying with her classmates, so any chance of sleep would be ruined by their -really loud- voices.

It was really early in the afternoon when I decided to go and get some coffee. I hadn't been able to go to Frederick's for a week, so I really missed my favorite cappuccino.

It was a strange hour for a coffee, so the shop was almost empty. I walked towards the counter, where a boy with light brown hair was standing, focused on his cellphone. I had never seen him before.

I stood in front of him but he was really into whatever he was doing. I looked at him, noticing he was actually really pretty. His hair was messy and kinda sexy, and I couldn't see his eyes but he had really long eyelashes. His shirt was tight around his arms, showing his muscles.

"Excuse me?" I said after a few seconds of waiting. He was startled when I spoke, he really hadn't seen me.

"Oh, yes, I'm sorry" he put his phone in his pocket "do you have your order?" his eyes were dark brown, almost black.

"One cappuccino, please" I looked for my wallet.

"Your name?" he asked me. Weird question for Frederick's.

"What, is this Starbucks now?" I said lifting one eyebrow.

"No" he said with a giggle "I just want to know your name"

Okay then.

"(Y/N)" I whispered. He was really breathtaking, and to be honest I wasn't the kind of girl who knows how to act in front of a hot guy.

"Cappuccino, great choice, (Y/N)" he gave me my order, one size bigger than what I payed for "I'm Evan"

"Well, nice to meet you. Have a nice day" Oh God, why was I so stupid?

I left the coffee shop with my hot drink slightly shaking in my hand. It was a really cold day, and my nerves were crazy... not only for what had just happened, also because I knew anytime soon an email would be arriving to my cellphone, telling me my grades! Scariest thing ever.

When I was close to the apartment, I almost threw the coffee cup away but I noticed something was written over it. A cell number and something written with really messy handwriting.

I'm hoping to share some coffee with you. Call me maybe? - Evan.

The next couple of days were really hard, mostly because I had to do a lot of homework and I was trying really hard to find a job, so I barely had time for myself.

One of my interviews was really close to Frederick's, so as soon as I got out of the office I walked towards my favorite coffee shop. It was noon and I was starving, but I didn't want to eat alone, so I chose to have a coffee instead.

To be honest, I completely forgot about Evan, until I saw him cleaning a few tables. I tried not to look at him, because I was really embarrassed for some reason. I didn't want him to think I was avoiding him, but I was too shy to talk to him. I had a few people before me, so I pretended to use my phone until it was my turn. It didn't work, tho.

"You didn't call me" he said suddenly, making me realize he was closer than I thought.

"What? No, uh, I didn't" I said trying to avoid his light brown eyes "I'm sorry"

"Don't be" he took off his apron and smile at me "Are you busy right now? My shift is over"

"No, but..." "

Great, let's get out of here" I don't know how, or why, but suddenly I was out of Frederick's and walking towards the avenue.

"Is this some kind of kidnapping?" I joked

"No if you come willingly" okay, his smile was overwhelming. If he was kidnapping me, I was totally fine with it. "Have you had lunch? Because I'm starving, (y/n)"

How did he remember my name? I mean, I remember his because he wrote it in the cup,and I saved his number in my phone too.

"Actually, I haven't" "Great then! I know a really good spot, if you like pizza" he was walking by my side with his hands into his pockets. He was such a cutie.

"I do, of course. Where is it?" "

Just a few blocks from here" It was, indeed, a really good spot. He seemed to go a lot there, because when we walked in a cute old lady call him by his name, and he reply the same way. I noticed he was really polite and sweet, and that was a plus, to be honest.

"She's the best cooker you'll ever meet" he said sitting in front of me "What type of pizza do you want?"

"Anything is fine" I said trying to be polite.

"Mmm... You look like a pepperoni fan, am I right?"

"You are, indeed" My smile was the size of a house by then "you like it?"

"I like you" he said looking right into my eyes, and my cheeks went all shades of red in matter of seconds.

"That's good" I smiled right when the same lady came to take our orders.

We chatted a lot about meaningless things, and then he told me how he ended working in Frederick's, I told him why I was studying law and how much I loved animals. He seemed to be really into acting and was really smart, funny and sweet.

"Have you ever thought about becoming an actor? Like, a professional one" I asked just before I finished my slice of pizza "I can tell you would be a really successful one"

"You think so?" his eyes were shining "yeah... I've always wanted to, but it's really difficult to become someone, if you know what I mean"

"I do, but you have something, Ev... Something that I can't fully describe, like magic, you know?"

"Wow, uhm, thank you so much. It's probably the nicest thing someone ever told me" he took my hand with his eyes pinned to mine "it means the world"

I was out of words, again. This guy kept leaving me speechless.

After lunch I told him I should go home, because I was really really tired. He insisted to walk me home, even if his home was in the other way. We continued with out chat all the way until we arrived to my door, and he took his phone out of his pocket.

"Would you give me your number? I'm afraid I won't see you again if I'm not the one who calls you" he joked. I gave it to him, of course. He was from other world, probably other universe, and I didn't want to loose someone like him.

"It was nice to see you again" he said, and he kissed my cheek, his lips almost touching my lips.

"It was really nice", I agreed "hope to see you soon"

"You will, doll. I'll call you" I giggled at my nickname while I was crossing my front yard.

"Bye, Ev"

"Hey, (y/n), come here for a second" he said suddenly "I forgot something"

I've always been so naive, I actually thought he forgot to give me something. As soon as I was near him, he walked to be right in front of me and after he grabbed my neck, he kissed me. It was a hell of a kiss, to be honest. One of those that leave your lips sore for a couple of minutes, but that kind of sore that we all love to feel. He was breathtaking, his kisses were breathtaking. My god! I really really couldn't wait to see him again.
