Filming had always been a tiresome task in Benedict's opinion.

Spending hours doing the same scene over and over again wasn't something he particularly looked forward to doing, especially not when said scene required a fair amount of emotional involvement from his part.

That day hadn't been much different.

Benedict had already been released from work after a particularly tiresome day at the set of Sherlock, and had been relieved when the producers had sent him home.

He'd been anticipating the nice warm shower he would be taking once he arrived when you'd called him.

Your ride back home had cancelled with you, and you'd asked him to go pick you up at the set of the new Kingsman movie, which you were staring in as one of the lead roles.

Benedict had obviously been glad to be able to spend some time with you, even if just during the short car ride from the set to your apartment. You'd been dating for four months now, and he was having the best time of his life with you.

He was pretty tired that day though, so Benedict arrived to pick you up with his hand covering his mouth, trying to keep from yawning too much.

He was standing directly behind the camera along with the cameraman and the director, still clad in the clothes he'd been wearing that same morning and longing to just go back home and into the comfort of his bed.

You were filming the last scene of the day; one in which your character had been held captive and was trying to escape the place she was being kept prisoner at while also hoping to gather some intel on the bad guys, and she had a gun in her hand as she searched for the enemies.

It was already nighttime, and Benedict shivered under the cold breeze coming from the river. You were in the Port of London since the scene was supposed to be filmed somewhere with water and lots of containers, and he couldn't understand how you were pulling it off with just a tank top covering your torso. Your character had supposedly just escaped from danger, and you were wearing black jeans and boots; your bare arms and neck covered with fake blood.

You didn't seem to be feeling the cold at all and Benedict smiled, watching from a few feet away as you joined your hands in a heart shape and looked at him with a grin as if to say 'thank you for coming'.

He was only able to smile in return, because the director was already ordering the stunt doubles around in order to film the scene. He yelled 'action', and Benedict watched as you went from grinning and waving to frowning and concentrated. It was the most amazing thing to see you get in character, your whole essence slipping away and leaving only the tough and broken aura of your character.

You pulled a gun from the holster strapped to your belt - a silencer attached to the tip of it - holding it down with both your hands as you roamed the area in between two containers. Your face was of pure determination as you rounded one of them carefully and pointed the gun ahead of you, in case there were any enemies lurking nearby.

When your character noticed the area was clear, she lowered the gun again and proceeded forwards in careful steps; the camera following you all along.

"Cut!" the director yelled, "that was great, (Y/N)," he said and then walked into the scenery to say something to you that Benedict couldn't understand. You were nodding all along, and seemed excited to what was coming next. "Okay, folks, let's take a five minute break while the doubles get ready!" he said and you came strolling towards Benedict happily.
