"Mrs. Stan, your flu test most certainly came back positive. I don't even see how you're able to sit up straight." Your doctor said as he sat down with you in the examination room. Groaning, you sniffled as your head fell into your hands. For the last few days, you developed a rather high fever, your entire body ached, you had the chills running along the entirety of your body, not to mention the constant runny nose and coughing which kept your unfortunate husband up at night, patting you in the back.

"And since it is the flu, I can't prescribe you antibiotics. This just has to run its course." He said with a rather sad smile, seeing as you were nearly doubled over on the edge of the table. Thanking him, you went up to the check-out desk and grabbed your papers which excused you from work, you didn't need that, thankfully, and made your way out to the car.

Today was Sebastian's day off and you were putting a detrimental twist on the day. He knew you were awfully sick and was the first one to suspect the possibility of you having the flu, also being the one to urge you to get checked.

You pulled into the driveway of your house, stumbling out of the car with a groan, the body aches unlike anything else you had ever experienced. Trudging through the front door, you could faintly smell the scent of something cooking in the kitchen, making your stomach immediately begin to rumble.

"Babe?" Seb's voice called out as he turned around, noticing you fumbling your way into the kitchen. He immediately rushed over and placed a hand around your waist, helping to pull out one of the barstools. He nestled you on the seat and you looked up at him with reddened eyes.

"Don't get too close," You coughed and sneezed into your elbow. "It's the flu, just like you said." You sighed deeply.

Sebastian smirked, planting a kiss against your forehead to which you squealed, shoving him away.

"Sebastian!" You yelled.

Your husband tilted his head to the side as he stared at you, dumbfounded.

"Did you forget?" He clicked his tongue. "We literally slept in the same bed last week? Even last night. Baby, I feel fine." He assured you as he walked over to the cabinet and grabbed a bowl. "I also made you soup. Your favorite." He poured some into the glass bowl before grabbing you a spoon and the saltines.

Passing you a bottle of water, he added another kiss to your forehead, making you squirm. He did have a point, but still. Now that you were confirmed of having the flu, you somehow wanted to be extra careful, even if you had more than likely passed your germs to him.

"Eat up. After you're finished, come upstairs. I'll draw you a bath." He called out, his footsteps already climbing up the stairs. You smiled to yourself, hurrying to finish the delicious soup before you placed your dishes in the sink and climbed up the stairs. When you walked in, you could smell the aroma of lavender, nearly making sleep wash over you instantaneously.

Sebastian leaned over the edge of the tub, his hands swishing around the bubbles. His head turned at the sound of you, a small smile inching across his face. He walked over and kissed your shoulders as he helped you get out of your clothes, ensuring to pepper kisses across your back softly, making you hum in delight. Once you were completely naked, he held your hand as you stepped over the edge of the tub and settled in, a moan of relief pushing through your lips when your body touched the hot water.

You settled back and Sebastian sat crisscrossed, using his hands to run water along your upper body. You were in pure happiness as the essential oil from the bubble bath mix wafted through your nostrils. Hardly able to smell, you could at least pick up on the luscious scent it prevailed.

"Thank you so much, Seb," You whispered as your head fell back against a soft rolled towel, your hands floating carelessly in the water. You were smiling from ear to ear, your sniffles present ever so often. Seb grinned at you, running his fingers through your hair.

"Of course, baby. You definitely needed this." He mumbled, standing to his feet. "Shorts or pants?" He asked.

"Shorts."

"Your shirt or mine?" He added.

"You already know," You called out, Seb laughing.

"Mine it is."

After about fifteen more minutes of soaking, you got out and were immediately handed a fluffy towel by your husband. Smiling sweetly, he grasped your hand and led you over to the bed. Raising your eyebrows, Seb motioned for you to lay on your belly, making you giggle.

"What are you doing?" You asked him as he reached over to your bedside table and grabbed your favorite lotion.

"Taking care of my favorite girl." He whispered, kissing your cheek as your head turned to the side on the bed. He situated himself beside your body on the bed, pumping the lotion into his hands. Rubbing it together to warm it, his large hands found themselves massaging against your back, another moan erupting from your mouth.

"Oh, Seb," You said out loud, earning a laugh. He paid attention to every muscle of your body it seemed, working his way from your neck, to your shoulders, hands running across your back, definitely your bottom, down your legs, and finished off with a good five-minute massage to each foot.

By the time he wrapped up, he had you nearly asleep on the bed, flat on your tummy.

"Hey, don't go to sleep like that, baby. C'mere," Seb called out gently as he helped put your clothes on you. Your eyes were full of sleep and your head rolled. Sebastian easily slipped his arms underneath your body and picked you up. He nestled you at the head of the bed before slipping in.

Removing his own shirt, he tossed it to the side as he cradled you into his side. Your head was elevated just a touch on his chest, which certainly helped to open your sinuses and before long, you were knocked completely out.

The last thing you remembered feeling was Seb's lips touching your forehead as he wished you goodnight, your body giving in to the sleep it so desired.

At some point in the night, you awoke, not even able to fall back asleep. Which prompted your husband to turn on a movie at two in the morning, and proceed to watch it with you.

"You can go back to sleep." You told him as you felt entirely guilty for him staying up with you.

Sebastian shook his head as he held you closer to his side, cuddling you.

"No," He yawned. "You're my wife. Remember our vows? In sickness and in health?" He chuckled, kissing your shoulder.

Giggling quietly, you smiled.

"You are so good to me, Sebby." You whispered.

Seb turned his eyes back up to you with a bright smile.

"I'll always be here to take care of you, baby."
