146. Dylan O'Brien | Cheating Rumors (I)

Prompt: There's rumours Dylan has been cheating on you with his co-star while filming his new movie

Word count: 268

Dylan has been filming his new movie for two months now and you had only been able to see him twice. And although you talked everyday and skyped all the time, like right now, you still missed him like crazy.

"I miss you so much Dyl" you said pouting at the computer

"I miss you too babe" he replid sending you a kiss "I'm already dying to come home and cuddle with you"

"Yeah, me too. But there's still another month to go..."

"I know... Aren't you going to be able to come visit me next month?

"You know I really can't. I have three exams and two papers to hand in next month. I'm so stressed. There's no way I'm going to be able. Although there's nothing I would love more"

"Yeah, i know. I'm sorry I asked again. I know you've been extremely busy but I just want to see you again"

"I know, me too"

You talked for a couple more hours and afterwards you went to bed alone wishing Dylan would be there.

The next day you woke up with a huge amount of twitter notifications and messages from all social media. You were kind of surprised since you always had a reasonable amount of notifications just for being Dylan's girfriend but not this many. When you opened twitter you saw what the buzz was all about. There was a photo of Dylan kissing his co-star on a bar. You were so shocked you didn't know what to do. You started shaking uncontrollably and sobbing. How could he do something like that to you?

You spent the whole day lying in your bed and crying. You couldn't believe what was happening and, to get worse, the whole internet was talking about it. Dylan had tried to call you thousands of times and sent you inumerous messages that you hadn't yet read because you weren't ready. But what if there was an excuse? What if the photo wasn't real? But the photo was pretty realistic and you could clearly see Dylan kissing the other girl and there was no excuse for that. You decided to send him a message:

[ Please, stop calling me. I don't care what you have to say ]

You turned off your phone and started packing your stuff. The next day you would leave the house.

*The next day*

You were finishing packing everything when you heard the front door opening.

"Hey babe, it's me" You froze. It was Dylan's voice. "What are you doing?" he asked when he saw all the bags.

You couldn't believe what was happening and you felt like crying just by looking at him. But you didn't want to show him how hurt you were.

"I'm leaving Dylan. I don't want to live in this house with you anymore" just saying these words almost made you throw up.

"What?" you could see he was shocked. "Please, let's talk this through..."

You stopped what you were doing and looked directly at him. The person you loved more than anything was standing right in front of you, but this time he had broken your heart. Both of you felt silent for a while until you looked away.

"What are you doing here Dylan?" you sighed "You weren't supposed to arrive until next month"

" I read your message and since you didn't reply to any of my calls I decided to come." his voice was soft but you could see he was nervous "We need to talk"

"I don't want to talk" you said with tears streaming down your face.

"Babe, I..." he tried to explain but you didn't let him.

"Don't. Just don't." you couldn't take it anymore and now you were raising your voice "You cheated on me Dylan. All this time you told me you loved me and then you go and kiss another girl. Do you know how that makes me feel? Like trash Dylan. It makes me feel like a freaking idiot."

Now you were crying but you didn't even care anymore. And now he was crying too...

"I'm sorry, I didn't know what I was doing. I was drunk." he was almost whispering.

"I was drunk? Is that what you have to say for yourself? For god's sake Dylan. Just let me go" you were clearly upset.

He came closer to you and slowly held your hand. You let him and looked him in the eye.

" Please, listen to me (Y/N) I love you. I love you so much. I know what I did and I know there's no excuse for that, The last thing I wanted was to hurt you and I'm sorry. I'm so sorrry. Please forgive me. I can't live without you, You mean everything to me. Please, give me another chance. I'll do anything for you."

He was desperate and you wanted to forgive him but it was too soon.

"I love you too Dylan but what you did is not okay. I can't just forgive you like that. I'm going to need some time"

You held your bags and left the room. You could hear Dylan sobbing which made you cry even more. You couldn't believe what you were doing but you knew it was the best decision.
