113. Sebastian Stan | Long Time Coming

request:I need fluff! How about Sebastian finally opening up to how he and actress!reader got together? Somewhere along the lines of him slowly falling for her and when he finally decides to ask her out, he finds out through a third party that reader does not date co-stars. So he shares his story of literally waiting until her last day on set to ask her out since they're technically not working together anymore but she mentions the press tour so he waits yet again to ask her on a date? I need some sweet and fluffiness.

"Please welcome our guest of the night, Sebastian Stan!" Jimmy Fallon rang loud in his studio. Fans were quickly up on their feet, whistles and screams sounding off as Sebastian appeared from around the corner. Throwing his arms up and getting more of a reaction, he smiled proudly at the support he was currently being shown.

He and Jimmy clasped hands, giving each other a quick hug as Sebastian fell into the couch seat.

The crowd's cheering and clapping began to slowly die out to which Seb continued to have a darling smile on his face.

Jimmy opened the interview up by asking general questions until one juicy topic came up that nearly all the females began to screech over.

"It's official," Jimmy started laughing, Seb's eyebrows furrowing. "And we have the picture, ready to show the crowd of you guys."

Sebastian opened his mouth, crossing his hands over the other as he stared Jimmy down.

"Jimmy, there's no telling what you have of me." He pinched the bridge of his nose, stealing laughs from the audience. Jimmy blew the picture up on the screen and it was none other than a personal picture of you and Sebastian posed at the Met Gala. You two looked absolutely stunning.

The audience began to cheer loudly at the photograph and Sebastian's eyes were filled with happiness, he began to clap.

"You and (Y/N) have officially confirmed the relationship. Congrats, man," Jimmy laughed at Seb who was smiling like an utter fool.

Sebastian nodded his head. "Would you believe me if I told you it took us almost five years to finally date?" He admitted, still gawking at the picture. You two looked gorgeous together at the Met Gala this week and the crowd ate it up as soon as you posted the official pictures to your Instagram. You two had been dating for almost two years now, but Seb was right. It took you two so long to date.

"Really?" Jimmy laughed. "Please tell us."

Seb smirked. "Well, as you all know," He fanned his arm to the crowd. "(Y/N) was in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. We had worked together then and I thought she was beyond gorgeous." He smirked, acting nervous, just a smidge. "But I didn't decide to pursue her until Captain America: Civil War."

The audience members gasped and Jimmy inched closer to Seb who started laughing.

"By the time Avengers: Infinity War was ready to be shot, It was madly in love with her. There was no doubt in my mind, she was the perfect girl. Until a third party came forward to me and say, 'Seb... ya can't have her.'." Sebastian chuckled. "Turns out, (Y/N) had a policy that she would not date co-stars."

Jimmy started to smile at him.

"How did you do it?"

Seb chuckled, scratching his chin. "I put on the charm and as soon as we finished up Endgame, I was going to ask her out... Until the press tour started."

Sebastian kept glancing at the picture of you two, his heart quickening.

"Just as I was about to ask her to dinner, she already knew I had a crush on her. A massive one. She insisted that she still would not date a co-star until filming and press tours were finished. Jimmy, I was devastated." Sebastian laughed.

"The girl of your dreams, practically friend-zoning you each time due to work." Jimmy chuckled, clapping his hands together as the crowd laughed too.

Seb cleared his throat and finally continued. "Once we were done with the press tour, I was fed up. I marched right to her the day after Endgame's press tour ended and I said..."

You were standing there, gathering your things. Endgame's press tour had finally come to an end and you were stoked beyond measure to have the fans be introduced to the finale. As you were about to head on over to your car, you heard him.

"(Y/N, wait up!" Sebastian's voice rang. You smirked. You were madly in love with the man but kept your promise to yourself that you would not date a co-star. You just didn't want to be involved in a relationship with someone whom you worked with, only to have the relationship falter and crash. Especially at the height of your careers. But, you and Sebastian Stan had officially cleared your work. You two were no longer considered to be working together with the wrap-up of Endgame.

"Sebby," You grinned, taking your sunglasses off of your face. Sebastian smiled and engulfed you in a hug to which you gladly enwrapped your arms around his large frame, inhaling the scent of his cologne. Heavenly.

You two pulled back and Seb gazed into your eyes, admiring you.

"You know what today is?" He chuckled.

You smirked, already having a strong feeling of where this was headed.

"What is it?" You played stupid.

Sebastian rolled his eyes.

"We're not co-stars anymore..." He trailed, making you giggle. "So will you please grab dinner with me tonight? An official date?"

Laughing, you slapped Seb's shoulder and instantly nodded.

Deciding to add a touch of cheekiness, you reached up on your toes and kissed his cheek tenderly.

"Pick me up at seven," You winked, walking to your car. Sebastian grinned from ear to ear as he turned to watch you enter your car and drive off.

He did it. He was finally going to have the girl he was in love with since 2014.

"(Y/N) kissed my cheek and walked off. That night we grabbed dinner, spent the night together, and well," He winked. "The rest is now history. She's literally my best friend."

The crowd roared and everyone smiled, clapping their hands together. Sebastian laughed.

"But she'll most certainly tell you, I had the lost puppy dog eyes every time I looked at her. She made it a point to poke fun at me about it." He smiled.

Jimmy chuckled. "You two are definitely Hollywood's Hottest right now. I mean, you two looked absolutely amazing at the Met Gala the other night. You two definitely look in love."

Sebastian nodded, most certainly agreeing.

"That's my future wife, Jimmy. I swear by it."
