summary - You and Sebastian weren't exactly friends, but you couldn't leave him alone on Christmas. Curse his stupidly perfect face and his occasionally charming demeanor.

-----

You hated Sebastian Stan.

You thought he was arrogant, selfish, rude, pretentious, and a complete dick.

You weren't entirely sure where this hatred stemmed from. Before meeting Sebastian, you had heard only nice things about him. He was always kind to his fans and anyone who had ever worked with him said he was one of the most polite celebrities they had ever worked with. You must've rubbed him the wrong way though, because from day one he was nothing but an ass to you. You were his make-up artist on the set of his latest movie and had initially been so eager to work with him. Things went downhill quickly. He wouldn't speak to you no matter how hard you tried to strike up conversations and most days you found he would get to set early so that he could have someone else do his make-up. Once you caught on though, you got there even earlier just so he'd have no chance to avoid you. It wasn't that you wanted to work on him. You didn't. He made you angry and it honestly offended you that he didn't want you to help him. However, making him mad made you feel somewhat accomplished. Plus, it was your job.

When the holidays hit, you were so ready to say goodbye to him and his stupidly perfect face. Damn, it would've been so much easier to hate him if he wasn't so fucking sexy. Somedays you contemplated completely fucking up his make-up, but you didn't want to jeopardize your job. Plus, you were sure nothing you could do would ruin how absolutely disgustingly flawless he was.

On Christmas Eve, you made your way to the airport. Your brother, his wife, and their seven-year-old daughter were living in California but were visiting you for the holidays. Naturally, you agreed to let them stay at your place. You were so excited to pick them up and see them again, especially your niece, Eva. You loved her to pieces and tried to be the best aunt you could be from across the country. When you made your way inside the airport to meet up with them, you froze in your tracks, seeing the absolute last person you wanted to see. You would've avoided him, but the two of you made direct eye contact and you knew you had to approach.

"What're you doing here?" you asked, walking up to him and noticing his bags (both literal and figurative) and stressed expression.

"Flight got cancelled," he mumbled, running his fingers through his hair. "Trying to figure out what to do." Before you could say anything, you heard your name being called. You turned and saw Eva running up to you, your brother and sister-in-law close behind her. You crouched on the ground and embraced Eva in the biggest hug you could muster.

"Oh I missed you, peanut!" you said, squeezing her tightly. "Merry Christmas!"

"Merry Christmas, Aunt (Y/N)!" she cheered back. When she pulled away from you, she immediately looked up at Sebastian. "Is this your boyfriend?" she asked.

"What?" you replied, your eyes wide and heat creeping up to your cheeks. "No. No this is one of my, uh, this is-"

"I'm Sebastian," he said, cutting off your babbling with a bright smile. He crouched down beside Eva and stuck his hand out for her to shake. "It's nice to meet you-"

"Eva," she said confidently, shaking his hand with a smile. At this point, your brother and sister-in-law were by your side as well and you had hugged them both and (reluctantly) introduced them to Sebastian.

"Where ya spending the holidays, Sebastian?" your brother, Michael, asked.

"Not sure," Sebastian laughed sadly. "I was just telling (Y/N) that my flight got cancelled. Won't be able to fly home until at least the 27th. Probably going to have to get a hotel and-"
