Life is finally settling down, the tour ends, and they're back in L.A. Maddie and Billie think their lives are calm, but they never thought about how hard it would be to plan a wedding, and they never realized how much their schedules would...
It's been almost eight months and life has been so crazy and so good and just so much fun, tour ended about two weeks ago. Billie is about to get started working on her next album, I'm in the process of starting a podcast and figuring out my own brand.
But before we even went on tour, I said that I was getting a team, and I meant what I said. I haven't told Kenzie I want a team or that I've been secretly interviewing people to be on my team.
It's not that I'm hiding it from her, I just need to do this on my own. I don't wanna hurt Kenzie or anything but I know it's gonna hurt her. I've been talking to Holden and Billie about what to do, Billie is on my ass to tell her, and Holden wants me to tell her too, but he's trying to help me figure out a way to tell that won't hurt as much.

The AMAs are also coming up really quickly, so I gotta figure out an outfit for that. Coming back from tour is always so chaotic because there's no break, you just dive right back into whatever you were doing before you left.
Surprisingly, we've also kept our engagement a secret. Only close friends and family know, we haven't really talked about publicizing it. I'm cool if we keep the whole wedding a secret and I think Billie's cool with it too.
Our lives are constantly just so publicized, Camera's have been following Billie for the last however many years because of this documentary that's coming out in a few months, and she has tried so hard to keep me out of it. Which I completely respect, I'm just really surprised that the camera crew has been really respectful of it.
But there's no pressure for me to get back into the spotlight right away, but I want to start doing something soon just because I've been really bored. Which doesn't surprise me because I'm so used to doing so much.

Maddie: "Hey, how's your meeting?"
Billie: "It just ended, it's gonna be a second before I'm home though because I don't wanna sit in rush hour for two fucking hours, I just wanted to see if you wanted to grab a late lunch when I get back?"
Maddie: "Of course, what do you wanna eat?"
"Billie: "You- I mean I don't care, it's up to you."
I laughed, "I don't care what we get, you choose."
