"Remus John Lupin, get your ass here right now !"
I drop my book immediately.
"Yes love ?"
Sirius had just came through the door, shoes not even unlaced. I stood over him trying to see what he needed me for. More importantly, what's up with his tone.
"You would never believe what happened today."
My shoulders fell in relief. So it wasn't anything bad. Just his usual tea spilling session.
"Okay, we need to get that bag off you first." I say, already lifting his-or rather my- leather sling bag.
Unexpectedly, he pulls on the front of my T-shirt. Shorty couldn't reach my lips so he had to tug me down and tip toe. His lipring pressed on my lips for a few seconds before he hopped off. And that's Sirius.
He's a whirlwind. Barging in then turn things inside out and upside down. But instead of wreckage, he leaves me in a bewilderment. Like he'd suck every thought I had, leaving me only to think of him.
I finally shake out of my daze and put the bag in our bedroom. From the corridor, I could hear him clanking away in the kitchen. No doubt pouring himself a real cup of tea.
"The store's got your favourite-" I pause.
Sirius turns around, mid-chew. His cheeks were round like a squirrel's and his eyes stared back at me as if I had just caught him doing something he shouldnt.
"-Blueberry scones." I chuckle.
"There's sum lef' fer you. Promis'." He tries forming words.
God. Cupid's arrow just pierced my heart again. This man. I swear to whoever's listening, this fucking man.
"They're for you sunflower. Eat all of them, I'll buy more."
That's an understatement. I'll hold the poor old baker under gun point at 2AM if Sirius wanted more. Heck, I'll transfigure my watch into a blueberry scone. Anything for my sunflower.
And oh.. he's smiling.
Now there's something about Sirius' smile. Since Hogwart's, I've heard people whisper they saw stars in his eyes. I agree. From all this time, I learn that his smile doesn't start in the curving of lips like most peope. His smile begins with his eyes.
They look at you as if you meant the world to him. The skin around his grey eyes wrinkle then his cheeks get pushed up then finally, the wide grin on his lips.
"You're the best Moony !" He exclaims.
Sirius tries hugging me with one hand. He graciously puts the one holding the half eaten scone further away, probably so he wouldn't spray crumbs all over me. He doesn't realize his face had crumbs and by hugging me... well, I guess the crumbs are nice shirt accessories.
He throws the last bit in before plunging his face in my chest. More crumbs and potential bluberry jam on my Star Wars shirt but you know what ? I don't care.
Yes, I'm down bad.
"Has anyone told you you're so.. huggable ?" Sirius mumbles.
I wrap my arms around his shoulders and rest my chin on his head.
"A guy tells me that all the time."
He pulls away. "What guy ?"
I shrug. "Yeah, he told me he liked my hugs, wants me to hug him everyday."
"I need a name to file a homicide report Lupin." Sirius threatens.
Oh forgive me for not shaking in my boots ! He's too fucking cute. I can't do this.
