Sirius ducked his head back in his book. Eyes forced to focus on the sentences. His mind tried to make sense of the swirl of black letters but, as much as he tried, his eyes glanced upwards.

There he was. Book boy.

Book Boy is a fine specimen he found one evening he reluctantly spent in the library. His housemates were practically broadcasting a live reenactment of how they were made. Sirius had no choice but to drag himself back to the campus library.

Book Boy had a paper cup in one hand and a book opened in another. Sirius saw him through the shelves of books and did a double take. He was glorious. A little yellow from the lights but beautiful all the same.

Since then, Sirius makes frequent visits to the library. Not that he needed to study. He just prays he'll catch a glimpse of Book Boy.

And maybe take a nap.

Book Boy sat 2 tables across him. He had his usual silver headphones on and a tough look on his face. Sirius had a small smile, he is very cute.

Sometimes his eyebrows would furrow and raise according to what happened in the book. Sometimes he'd flip the page aggressively, almost ripping it off its spine. But most of the time, Book Boy was gentle. He'd rub the corner of the page between his thumb and pointer as he reads.

Sirius groaned inwardly. This is terrible. He shouldn't be crushing on some stranger ! But when Book Boy pushes his reading glasses up his perfect little nose, he's blushing all over again.

GOD DAMN IT ! He's Sirius Fucking Black. Half the people here knows him and the other half wants to get with him. Talking up some guy shouldn't be so difficult. Sirius sighs, resting his chin on his palm. He probably looked like a cartoonish love-sick boy. Book Boy ran his hand through his curly hair and he's a goner.

Sirius had a cup of coffee in one hand and his heart in the other. Book Boy is reading right there ! Today's the day Sirius will speak. He will come up to Remus, cool and handsome as usual, offer him coffee, charm him then get a date.

Sirius straightens his leather jacket and tousle his hair. He got this. He walks from behind the shelf and make his way to Book Boy.

Sirius was caught off guard  he didn't expect Book Boy to launch that attack on him. Book Boy had pulled his glasses off and stretched. His crumpled Star Wars shirt riding up just enough to show his belly button, the Calvin Klein waist band and the trail of hair disappearing under his jeans.

Sirius' eye twitched. He made two steps back and hid behind the shelf again. There's no way he's talking. No way in hell ! Not when he's pink faced and shaking.

"Oh hey, Sirius."

The boy almost shrieked. It was only Arthur.

"Hey. Uhh here." He hands the cup of coffee to the red haired. "Free coffee. Have a good day !"

Arthur watched Sirius curiously as he scrambled away. He grabs the book he needed and returned to his seat next to Remus.

"What's up with Sirius today.." Arthur lamented.

Sirius didn't realize his crush's eyes followed his retreating back. An amused expression on his face.

"Who knows." Remus murmurs returning to his book. A smile hidden behind his palm.

Sirius sat with his friends by the students' lounge. He didn't listen to whatever they were talking about. As much as he enjoys their company, he needs to come up with a new strategy. A new way to gather his courage and actually speak.
