Sirius was laughing with his guests, unaware of the video that was about to play. While Remus, seated next to him, had an arm linked with the other's. Everyone knows the newly weds were simply inseparable.
After the venue team turned the lights down, Sirius quiets along to watch whatever video was prepared by their friends.
He watched himself sit for an "interview". He remembered feeling confused, wondering if they asked Remus to do the same. Either way, Sirius lets his friends have their fun with him.
Lily, evident by the red hair swishing on frame, cleared her throat and asked the first question. "So Sirius, what made you say Yes when Remus proposed ?"
Sirius felt himself grow a smirk at all the eyes directed at him.
"Have you seen Remus Lupin ? I think it's a sin to say no to him."
The guests laughed. Next to him, Remus snorted.
"C'mon elaborate on that." On screen Lily asks.
Sirius had a sheepish smile as if he was remembering something sweet between them. He hummed. "I love him and when you love someone, someone you want to spend forever with, you'd want forever to start as soon as possible."
Remus awe-d along with the crowd. Circling an arm around Sirius, He pinches his cheek.
"So cute." The werewolf says, kissing his temple.
Sirius pushes his face away, as the bashfulness simmered in. "Shut uuupp."
The video continued to James with a notepad. Nobody could see his face but his untamed hair gave him away.
"Okay, Paddy, next question ! What are some good points you see in good ol' Moony McMoon ?"
Sirius twiddled his thumb, actually putting thought into it, until James throws his pencil at him.
"Are you thinking ?! He's your future husband ! You should have some at the top of your head !"
Sirius scoffs. "Well I have to think because you lot wouldn't want to hear "good dick" now would you !?"
There was a scandalous gasp the guests let out before cackling at Sirius. Their closest friends pushed the poor embarrassed groom around while Remus tries hard to surpress his smirk.
"Oh don't look at me like that !" Sirius says to Remus, loud enough for everyone to laugh at.
"Fine, what then !" James, on screen, pestered. "You're finishing a whole roll on your own !"
"Are you trying to sabotage my wedding Prongs !?"
James stands up as Sirius does and the camera visibly shakes from the sudden motion. You could hear Lily's soft voice going "oh no", probably hurrying to stabilize the camera.
"My bestfriend's marrying my boyfriend ! I'll be all alone ! At least, marry me and Peter so we'd still be a group !"
The camera shakes even more as James pulls on the collars of Sirius' leather jacket. The future groom retaliated with wrestling the Potter's sweatshirt.
"Merlin Prongs ! Get off me you wedding crasher !"
The last few visible scenes were Lily's shoes as she ran to break them apart and the camera going thud on the floor.
The video dies for a good few seconds with a caption saying "The groom to be and his best man goes at it." But as it was edited, the video returns to Sirius on his interviewee stool.
The real Sirius watching felt a little somber. He'd always been into Divination and this is one of those moments he thinks the Divine is trying to tell him something. Maybe this video will help him somehow. Somewhere in the distant future.
