Waking up this morning felt a lot easier then the last few months, being able to talk to Riley last night was exactly what I had needed
When Riley broke up with me I knew it wasn't her decision but I never got the chance to speak to her about it especially when Riley shut herself away

Piper and I have dealt with so much abuse from those silly little girls that once the police had arrived and explained everything we both were thankful something was finally happing
We were going to go ourselves but we wanted more evidence for the case

We honestly thought it was an anonymous tip so when we bumped into Riley at the station it was a massive shock for us both
I never told Piper or my family about what happened with Riley, they were the ones to ask questions as to where she was and that was when I told them we broke up

There was a small knock on my bedroom door, I stand up to open it to see Piper stood causing me to open the door further to let her in my room
"Everything okay?" I ask her taking a seat in my bed with Piper doing the same "I just want to check what Riley said to you was the same thing she said to me" Piper timidly says

"We'll what did she tell you?" I question, I don't see Riley lying to either of us but I couldn't help feeling anxious
"Riley told me the night she broke up with you she met up with Beth Amanda and Maisie and they told her everything would stop if she broke up with you, she isolated herself because she couldn't face anyone after listening to them" Piper explains

"That's what Riley told me as well, she hasn't lied to either of us Piper" I softly speak making Piper let out a sigh of relief
"I know I should trust her but I just had to make sure things were the same, how did your talk go last night?" Piper says

"It was honestly amazing, we just spoke through everything Piper.. all I've needed these last few weeks is Riley and being able to just sit down next to her made me feel so comfortable and safe" I gush
"You love her don't you?" Piper softly says
"Yeah I really do, I haven't told Riley that though but maybe I need to. I just hope things can go back to how they were with us but I don't know how that's possible" I sigh

"Just talk to her James, explain how you feel and if she feels the same you guys can build up back to how you were and even get to a place you never thought you guys could" Piper says giving me hope
"Yeah I think that's what I need to do, I hope that Riley also gets back into dance and being sociable, it isn't good for her to be so isolated" I sigh

"Yeah I agree, I'm sure in time Riley will be back to her bubbly happy self that everyone knows and loves" Piper says with a small smile
"I can only hope for now" I sigh "Have you heard anything about the case yet?" Piper asks

"No I haven't, it was only yesterday Piper" I laugh causing Piper doing the same "I'm sure they're looking through all of our evidence and when they find something they'll either call us on or turn up at our door with information" I continue making Piper nod her head
"I just want this over with James" Piper sighs
"So do I, this should end soon" I sigh pulling Piper into a hug
