"So you mean to tell me your brother tried to sneak out your dad caught him and chased him around the house?" He laughs as I recall the story he just told me. I'm in honest disbelief.

" yes exactly that he woke everyone up while yelling taetaqid 'anah yumkinuk eisyan li , tawaqaf ean aljari!"

(You think you can disobey me STOP RUNNING!)

I take a sip of the now cooled down coffee he poured for me.

"That sounds crazy but at least your brother learned not to sneak out." He nods his head and leans back on the pile of pillows laid out on the ground.

"So how many siblings do you have then?" I ask while Turing towards him

" 4 excluding me I'm the second oldest." He looks over at me with his eyes trailing me. " and you?"

" I have an older sister buuut we don't really talk." He raised an eyebrow intrigued about my estranged sister and our story.

"There's nothing really to it it's honestly kind of stupid really. You could basically call her the golden child she literally could do no wrong in our parent's eyes. While I was the black sheep despite the fact that I did everything they asked for." I take another sip of my coffee then I lay back on the pillows.

"She claimed I was out to ruin her relationship with our parents and her disgusting boyfriend which was a lie. But of course, my parents believed her. You know I had to walk to the hospital once because I broke my arm but she got the slightest headache and they would rush her to the ER." I scoff at remembering how ridiculous they acted towards me.

Because really who treats their kids like that.

"That's horrible." He chimes in I give him a slight smile and look back up at the tent's ceiling.

"Yeah, so I don't really talk to them."

" Understandable if I had a family like that they wouldn't hear a word from me especially if I did everything they wanted." I sit up to take a drink of my coffee but I end up getting distracted by the outside

"How did you even find this place?" I ask while turning around he smirks and sits up.

" I have my ways." Is all he said? You know when he is not being bossy he's not that bad. Well, that's until he gets arrogant again.

"Okay past relationships?"

" I had two serious ones. The most recent was a year ago lasted about 4 months. She cheated then tried to pin a baby on me months later." He scoffs while looking at me.

"Well, how do you know it wasn't yours?" He gives me a weird look, and I just shrug my shoulders. It's true, how do you not know?

"Well, for starters, we only did anal. She had this thing about purity didn't make any sense but anyways I asked for a paternity test and the kid wasn't mine." I nodded my head, then drank the rest of the coffee in my cup.

"And what if it was?" He raised an eyebrow

"Truthfully, I don't know I'm not particularly ready for kids yet." He moves over and joins me by the table.

"Well, no one is truthfully ready for kids or prepared. You can read all the books and take all the advice but everyone will have a different path." Which is true to some extent even when you decide it's your time like is just unpredictable. Anything can happen

"But I do want a large family when it's time."

" large family well I guess you'll have to find a wife that is willing," I say laughing man's might be rich but having all those kids is a lot pregnancy is a lot.

"Well, it's pretty common here." He says trying to convince me it's not a bad thing

"So what if it's common? Do you know how much work a woman has to go through?"

" I'm sure it's not that-"

"You know, for someone who has three younger siblings you should have seen what your mom went through." He's almost taken back by my tone but truthfully I hate it when guys say that even if it's just a "joke" because they are the same type to say periods aren't that bad.

I used to always get in trouble in school for arguing with people about periods. Just because you don't experience it doesn't mean others aren't affected by it.

"I actually wouldn't. Most of her pregnancy she was either on trips with my dad and then up till the point where my siblings were born, she was in her own space. She only came out after she was healed if that's even the right word."

"Well still ask her and I'm sure she will tell you how it really was or just wait till you get married and your wife is pregnant." I scoff while looking at my phone.

"Is it time yet?" He asks while keeping his eyes locked on me.

"Yeah, we should probably go now before the sun sets," I say while getting up.

"Why are you afraid of the dark?" He says while smirking and watching my every move. Psh as if someone like me would be scared of the dark

"No, but I know it gets really cold and I didn't bring a jacket nor do I want to get killed in a spontaneous sand storm." We walk out of the tent, we all have things that scare us but the dark sure ain't one of them especially when you've been it for so long you become used to it.

"So what are you scared of?" He says while helping me onto the horse that was tied up outside. He hops on shortly after and I hold onto his waist not wanting to fall off

"Why so you can put me in that situation so I can jump into your arms?"

"If I wanted you in my arms I would simply just seduce you. One shouldn't have to scare a woman to get her in his arms." He says in a sarcastic tone he then shouts out a command for the horse and we take off.

"So where to tour guide?" He chuckles as I rest my head on his back to prevent the sand from getting my eyes

"The beach." Is all he says there's no reason to question more. I can only hope the water is not freezing cold.
