" Uuuugh." I let the back of my head rest on my desk chair. Why is it that on days where you need the time it speeds by and on days when you don't it's slower than damn molasses?
I hear a knock at my door causing me to jolt up.
"Come in!" The door opens promptly, and in comes my coworker Lykos, he plops down on the couch beside my desk and looks at me

I don't know how this man does not get written up with all those buttons undone
I discreetly shake my head and raise my eyebrow at him.
"Did you start that article about the Walters?" I let out a sigh
"Yes, all I have to do is edit." He nods his head but has his eyes stuck on the candy that's on my desk.
"Stop eye fucking the candy and take some already." I chuckle as he goes wide eyes from my bluntness.
" So what's on the agenda for tonight?" He says while tossing a skittle in his mouth.
I fix the scooper in the candy container and lean back in my chair.
" imma be honest I just might go home and take a very very long bath maaaaybe watch a movie after, and you?" He looks at me and smirks.
"Well, if I get off in time I will be having dinner with my partner."
Lykos started here a couple years back but only recently have we gotten closer.
If I remember he's five years older than me and is Greek. People tend to avoid him based on his looks, I guess, because he has a rough exterior.
Eh, I don't really know because he's the complete opposite. I see him as a brother I never had.
"At least we have a three-day weekend. I was about to lose my mind out there." He scoffs in annoyance and places some more candy in his mouth.
"Why what happened?" He gives me his ' I know you did not just ask me that' face
" I'm going to need our boss to retrain some of these people." I shake my head and place it in my hands. I already know where this is gonna go
" I'm not saying they should lose their job because that's mean but I just want them to be retrained." I listen to him go on about how numerous amounts of files have popped up and disappeared ever since they started. The list goes on.
Eventually, after about twenty minutes of ranting, he leaves and decides to go back to work. Thankfully right when he finished it was time for me to go home.

I place my towel on the rack and begin to sink into the tub.
