"Baby, can you get the back for me please?" I asked while pressing my hands against the dresser. He walked up behind me securing the back.
Since I haven't been able to go back to the palace Yara Aahils aunt has been keeping in touch with me. Well everyone has, Zuma would occasionally stop by now that Aahil let some people come over. He didn't care if people showed up at the door they were not coming in. If you didn't let either one of us know then he wouldn't let you step foot in the house.
It's been a week so far that I've been talking with the therapist obviously all the issues I'm facing can't be solved in one session but I'm hopeful that's all that matters right? I truly want to get better....
"We're only staying for a couple of days the car is already loaded but do you need anything else?" He asked while smoothing my dress over my bump. "No, we double-checked yesterday."
Yara mentioned how she wanted us to come to visit her for a couple of days. Some of the women in the family would be there to help aid her in one of the family traditions. She explained that it was typically done closer to birth but since I'm having twins she insisted it be done earlier.
"You look amazing habibti." He said while slipping his face into the crevice of my neck. I leaned back and ran my fingers through his hair. "Mmm thank you." He kissed my cheek while rubbing my belly.
I felt him smirk against my cheek, "Come, let's go before my aunt hunts me down for keeping you away." I chuckled as he pulled away. I grabbed my larger water bottle and walked out of the room. "Ah! The midwife called me this morning to tell me the results." He hummed and placed his hand on my lower back as we walked down the halls. "What did she say?"
" She said everything came back alright nothing showed signs of worry so I'm all good." I pulled the straw up from the bottle and took a sip. "That's wonderful! I'm glad everything is okay. I was worried when she brought it up."
"I was too, but I have a good midwife...I was doing some research on it and Aahil the rates are scary, especially in the U.S." He opened the door to the car for me and I muttered a small thank you while getting in.
"It's a good thing you are here then!" He said while sitting next to me. The driver looked back for orders to be given and Aahil just nodded. " kayf hal 'atfali alyawma?"(how are my babies doing today?) he asked while placing his hand on my belly.
"Good though someone has been moving around a lot as if they have all the space in there." He chuckled and brushed his thumb against me in an up-and-down motion.
"The ride will be long so you can sleep if you want to." I grabbed the blanket out of my bag and unraveled it. "You do not have to tell me twice.

" Come, come!" Yara ushered us in eagerly. I tried to take some bags from Aahil but he refused. " I'll let you get settled in first then we will get started." She smiled and gave me a quick hug. As we walked down the long hallways to our room I couldn't hold back my gasps. I was simply amazed by what I was looking at.
The different stained glass pieces of art and decor of various paintings of what I assume is her family. "My aunt has a thing for the arts like you," Aahil said while glancing at me taking my time to admire each piece.
" wha-why didn't she ever bring this up? Is this her work?" I asked while looking down from one of the stained glass jellyfish chandlers.
" mhm." I shook my head and looked back up. She will have to explain how she created that I've never seen something like this before. "She does a lot of paintings too."
