His departure was bittersweet if you would even call it that. As much as I wanted to wrap onto his leg and beg for him not to go I held it in.

I quickly pull my hair up into a ponytail out of frustration these people make me want to stuff my damn fears with cotton.

" It is important for the country to kn-" I scoff and fold my hands. This man has some nerve to tell me what this country needs to know

"Excuse my language but you are full of shit and have a head stuffed with dirt. If you believe telling the country may I remind you that is at war right now that I'm pregnant? Do you know how stupid that sounds?"

He furrowed his eyebrows upset that I challenged his idea. "War has nothing to do with it."

"HA, that's hilarious coming from you." I vigorously moved my finger in a circular motion, "when almost everyone here started this damn war, to begin with."

"Queen Bashar, we have more pressing matters that need to be discussed before the end of this meeting." I let out an exhaustive sigh and gestured for her to continue. She passed over the paper and I made sure to read it carefully. It's only been a week one damn week and I'm ready to fight everyone in this bitch. I don't know how Aahil does it because the man sitting across from me is about to get a five-piece combo if another word comes out his mouth.

"All of this seems fine Amina go ahead and push this through, unlike some people I actually worry for the safety of others in this country." After signing it I passed it back to her and leaned back in the chair.

"Have there been any updates regarding casualties?" I asked as I placed my hand on top of my belly.

"A couple have been injured but no deaths ma'am." I nodded my head as I folded my hands together.

"Okay well if there's no more con-I swear if another word comes out of your damn mouth Ahmed I swear!" He quickly closed his mouth and exited the room. The rest of the council soon followed foot.

I let out a tired sigh and rubbed the sides of my belly, "how did your Baba do this guys?" And like clockwork, they started the house party hearing me mention their father. I turn the lights off and close the door behind me. I don't want to be in this building any longer than I have to be, I'd rather be doing those nesting duties Aahil mentioned.

And now that I think about it he was right I am nesting it all started with looking through the clothes we got for them and next thing you know Zuma and I are outside hand washing baby clothes.

"Jamila, my dear sister-in-law I was just about to come and look for you," Rahla said while smirking.

"Oh gosh, what did you get into?"

"Why does everyone always assume I did something bad?" She huffs playfully and links her arm with mine.

"You legit hack into our side of the palace to take food. And don't act like I didn't notice you took my sandwich." She nervously chuckled which made me smirk.

That stunt she did wasn't slick. I know when someone eats my food but I'll give her five points for making another sandwich.

"Okay, well can you blame me for your cooking? Your cooking is good!" she said dramatically. I chuckle and shake my head

"You're lucky I love you or else we would be fighting! Now, what did you need me for?" She rested her head on the side of my shoulder trying to show me, love, she is something else I tell you.

"My mom said the midwife is here and she needed me to come and get you." I hummed as we passed through the courtyard. I didn't know she was coming so early in the morning. I mean, if it were up to me I would be in bed sleeping, but no, the council insisted on having this meeting damn near at the crack of dawn NOT EVEN THE DAMN ROOSTERS WERE UP.
