I was finally home after having to spend an extra day in the hospital. I was just ready to be in my bed and get rid of this hospital smell. I mean it's not a bad smell I just smell like a hospital.

" kulu man kan hunak fi dhalik alyawm eamil huna aydan lam yakun ladayna ghuraba' , lidha 'iimaa 'an tabda'uu jmyean fi altahaduth"

(everyone that was there that day also worked here we had no outsiders so either you all start speaking )

His voice boomed throughout the palace. He wasn't yelling but the tone was nothing to mess with. As soon as we got back he stopped at nothing to try and find out who poisoned me and who exactly was behind the killing.

" YALAH!" ( HURRY UP!) I walked past the opening arch and Aahil made eye contact with me.

"Habibti, come here please." I nodded my head and walked up to where he was standing in the front

" since no one wants to speak up identify the people you came in contact with if you can remember." People started muttering once the guards came forward as well.

"King Bashar, the toxicology report came back here you go." The guard handed off the paper and bowed stepping back in line with the others.

As he looked through everything I picked out everyone I recognized but someone was missing.

"Someone is missing." He looked up from the paper and immediately glared at everyone.

"This is every one that helped me out that day but the woman who gave me food that day isn't here."

"Where is she!" The staff jumped surprised his voice could reach that low of an octave. They looked absolutely frightened as if they have never seen him this way

"What do the results say?" I asked while walking over to him.

"There was no sign of any toxins on the blade meaning whatever poisoned you was in the food you ate." He aggressively tapped his finger on the chair he was sitting in but sinner or later the girl was dragged. She thrashed her body around screaming words I couldn't understand.

"Everyone out guards and this traitor stay." I got to move but I felt him tug on my skirt. "Not you habibti." He said softly

The guards forced her to kneel on the ground. Aahil picked up his sword and tipped her head up with the point.

"You got some nerve."

She didn't speak she just sat there trembling in fear.

"Who put you behind this?" She avoided eye contact which only angered him.

He threw the sword to the side and charged at her gripping his hand around her neck. She screeched out in pain while rapidly tapping his hand to free her.

"You're begging for me to let you breathe? You don't deserve such luxury." He squeezed hard and soon she stopped tapping but before she could close her eyes for the last time he forcefully let her go watching her body fall

She ladies there on the floor coughing while holding her throat

" I'll ask again who-"

"Your father" he croaked out while coughing

"Do you know who stabbed her?"

She started crying and he clenched his jaw.

"You think I care if you cry? ANSWER THE FUCKING QUESTION BEFORE I KILL YOU!" I held my hands behind my back watching this all unfold. If I were here I would speak up.
