After a day out with Zuma, we finally made it back. We probably would have made it back sooner but she insisted we eat before going home.

"You know, I find it quite unfair that my mom gets to spend the whole day with you." I yelp from the sudden voice and drop my bags on the floor. I turn around to see Aahil on the bed reading

"Aahil I swear you have to stop doing that one of these days. I'm gonna have something in my hand and you'll accidentally get hit." He chuckles and places his bookmark in between the pages and walks closer to me.

"Did you have fun?" He placed his hands around my waist and pulled me closer

"Mhm your mom is very nice she even gave me advice." His eyebrow raised encouraging me to finish

"Well, she said if you ever entertain the thought of you getting a second wife, try to, and I quote 'grab you by the ear and throw your ass out' which shocked me." He chuckles and kisses me on the lips.

" sounds about right but I'm not interested in that my dad, on the other hand, I bet he has possible people lined up but I want you." He turns me around and leads us to the mirror in the closet and slowly starts to take off my hijab surprisingly not stabbing himself with the pins.

He places the pins on the table next to us and looks at me in the mirror.

"You said you wanted to talk...from the note?" He nods his head and his face suddenly turns to worry

"Did you take everything?" he asked. I nodded my head and he slowly took the hijab off. "Well, I can't remember if we had this conversation before but it's important...... now that I think about it we should have talked about this early on."

"Okay, what's up?" he inhales and starts folding the fabric trying to prolong whatever it is he's trying to prolong. Why doesn't he just come out with it?

"You're on birth control, right? I'm pretty sure I came in you last night even though I don't fully remember it. I think we drank too much." He rubbed the back of his head and even avoided eye contact. Aahil the intimidated man that could punch someone's lights out if he wanted.

"Yes, I'm on birth control and yes I took everything. I'm pretty sure if what you suspect to happen will happen then I'm on the strong no side." I let out a slight chuckle and turned around to grab his face.

" Will you chill you look like you've seen a ghost?"

"It's been on my mind since this morning. I even wanted to wake you up but that kind of put me at ease."

"That was a good choice not to wake me up because you would have gotten the silent treatment." I walk out of the closet and into the bathroom to get ready for a shower. I'm pretty sure we aren't going out for the night, and truthfully, after being out all day I could use a shower.

"Okay well, could you blame me? We never talked about kids let alone marriage and I would hate to put you in a position like that," he says while leaning on the wall still having that worried look on his face.

"Thus why I got on birth control well not the sole reason."

" And what's that?"

"Well, the main reason was not getting periods. I'm pretty sure you could ask your sisters and they would agree with me." I slide out of the dress and turn on the water. He walks over to me and unclips my bra. "Thanks"

"So is there any possibility that you-"

"No, and if that does happen um well I'm simply not ready for kids." I see him nod his head in the reflection of the mirror. He doesn't say anything instead, he walks out of the bathroom.
