" Okay enough with the stalling fill me in on how everything went." Just like my trip to Inan where I stayed with him the last two days he asked me to stay at mine.

" I'm not stalling I simply don't want to bore you with all the royal duties." He chuckles while grabbing a handful of popcorn from the bowl.

" bore me? Psh unless you are going to talk to me about how to code lay it on me."

"Fine. The first week was filled with nothing but paperwork meetings with officials. The second week they had conferences with the occasional big dinner/ gathering. And finally the last week I took my place as king I had my coronation." He grabs his wine from the table and takes a small sip before placing it back down

"You know, you suck at telling how things played out." I throw a piece of popcorn at him and he smirks after he catches it

"Why must you know all the boring details?" He says while throwing a piece back at me but seeing as how I suck at eyes and mouth coordination I didn't even attempt to catch it.

" because I never met anyone that has gone through this process, not even Dukes" He raised an eyebrow

"What dukes do you know?" He questioned as his hand leaves the bowl and he swallowed the chewed pieces in his mouth.

"Well, when I went to Leona I met a duke, what's his name, what did it start with again? Dellu... no no no it wasn't that Sami? No, but it started with an- aaaah I remember! Salomon." He slowly picks up another piece but keeps his eyes on me almost as if he doesn't want to miss what I'm saying.

" Salomon I bumped into him while I was on my search for an artist. Then he told me he has his own collection of paintings and sculptures." I reached for my mug and rested on the coaster

" anyways his works were in the show. You saw a couple of them but he used a different name." He nods his head giving me a slight hum in response.

"Hm, you never mentioned him whenever we talked on the phone."

" Why would I. He wasn't important I didn't even talk about the other artist I met." After taking several sips of my now cooled-down tea he scoffs

" Why are you jealous?" He rolls his eyes at me and scoffs again.

" Aahil Bashar does not get jealous." He tried to speak power and strength into his words but I saw right through them

"Lies you are." I lean over to the edge of the couch and pull my curtains closed. The sun went down an hour ago so there's no need to keep them open.

"But to ease that mind of yours it was strictly business not that you should be worried because last time I checked I'm your what?" He mumbles something under his breath

" I'm sorry what did you say? It seems like your line is going dead." He chuckles and then proceeds to let out a deep breath.

"You're my girlfriend."

"Exactly, now continue on with the details please." I pick up my mug once again and cuddle up in the corner of the couch.

"Well, the ceremony was very long there was an oath I had to take. I think it was televised only the beginning parts because the rest of the ceremony is private." I nod my head understanding I wouldn't get anymore information. Even though I'm intrigued I respect him enough not to pry.

Just as I open my mouth to say something the sound of thunder roars making me almost spill my tea

I don't even think it was supposed to rain today welp there goes my plans for tonight.
