It's been a week since we found Rawiya and Hassan, and it has been nothing but chaos. Some good things have happened though. Anisa is finally healing up properly with all the surgeries she had to go through. Though as expected she didn't take the news well when Aahil told her about what happened to her children.

She almost had to be sedated for fighting the doctor who tried to keep her in bed. The rest of the family moved in temporarily so more safety measures could be put in at the palace, but I'm not complaining. It's only that having them here has been such a great help. Which also made me realize we really do need 'help' in the house.

I thought I-we could do it all on our own but oh how I was wrong. I mean Aahil brought up the idea before about getting a nanny or someone to help out around the house but I refused. Was it mom guilt? Maybe but now that I have the help and I see how much easier it is to get stuff done I'm not passing up the opportunity. But the hiring process won't be easy so we might just end up figuring this out on our own.

I propped up my phone on one of the pillows and clicked the FaceTime icon in the group chat. It's been soooo long since I've had a proper chat with my girls it's honestly sad. "Is that who I think it is?" I hear Anna say while leaning over into the screen. I smiled and waved two other screens popped up "Wow. wow. wow, look who's back!" Amber said playfully.

" Oh my gosh, Mila!" Georgina said while pouting. "We missed you!" I pouted along with her. " I missed you guys too!"

"Where's the babies!" Anna said I raised a brow. " Ah! So this is why you guys joined because you thought I was gonna show the babies? Is this all you care about?" I said in the most dramatic hurt voice ever. I knew that wasn't the reason, but man, I miss these girls.

"Yeah... now move so we can see them," Amber said. I burst out laughing and shook my head moving the camera down slightly. They all screeched with excitement. I shook my head they are lucky the twins aren't sleeping but I don't blame them. This would be the first time seeing them. No one else besides Aahil's family and the doctors who do their checkups have seen their faces. Well, there was that one reporter who interviewed us.

It wasn't until I repositioned my phone that I heard sniffling. "Alright, who's crying? We've been in here less than five minutes." Anna said. We all looked at each other until we realized Georgina wasn't on the screen.

"Awe Gina, what's wrong?" I asked she moved the camera back on her face promptly blowing her nose. "It's just that...it's been so long since we've seen you and now look you have beautiful babies..." I pouted and placed my hand on my chest.

" I'm really sorry girls for not callin'-"

" Nope. Nope. Nope, none of that Jamila! You had a lot on your plate." Amber said I bit my lip and looked away. "Yes, but still... I feel like I neglected my best friends. The last time we saw each other was at my wedding! You know how many months ago that was!"

" seven" Anna said, "Exactly seven months! There's so much that has happened in that time that I haven't gotten the chance to fill you in on..."

And I wish I could have.... Ever since January it's been a constant adjustment period. And that's not me complaining, but it's the truth. Making the big move here then settling in, getting married then officially becoming queen and almost getting killed, Aahil going off to war and taking over his duties, almost getting assaulted and killed then dealing with the healing process with that, giving birth and adjusting to parenthood and everything going on with the family it's just been a lot. I'm sure if I wasn't pregnant while most of this was happening. Adjusting would've been slightly easier.

"We aren't mad at you Mila we all understand. You contact when you can and you react to the messages we send in the group chat so we know you're still alive." I chuckled only Anna would say something like that.
