I've been awake for a couple of hours now but since the sun isn't up there's no point in getting up so I have my eyes closed just in case I feel tired again yesterday we did way more packing than I wanted to but even though I did want to leave at the same time I didn't. but I did find out why he was here, to begin with, and as I thought he missed me.

There's so much I have to learn about everything I feel a soft hand drape around my belly slowly rubbing circles. he let out a low groan and pulled me closer after he sensed that there was a distance between us.

"I know you're not sleeping habibti." he kissed the back of my neck and rested his hand under my bump. " why are you up so early?"

"I don't know nerves?" he hummed and I let out a sigh " I don't really know what it is something is just bothering me and I don't know what"

I felt his hand slip away and the rustling of the sheets he turns on the little lamp on the table

" come on let's go" he gets up reaching for his scrunchie I turn over giving him a confused look. briefly glancing at the clock it's not even close to three.

" go where Aahil do you see the time?" he chuckled and lifted the covers up. I tried holding onto them but failed.

" Either you get up willingly or I carry you which one is it?" he towered over me and smirked I pat his arms to move out the way but he quickly picks me up. I let out a surprised squeal making him laugh

" you said I could choose!" I wrap my hands around his neck and he smirks while carrying me to the living room.

He placed me on the couch and walks back into the room but comes out with my jacket.

" Aahil where are we going?" I say while taking it from his hands.

" mmm don't worry about it just know you are gonna love it."
I raised an eyebrow but eventually gave in. He didn't even give me a chance to change.

He grabs the keys and slips on a sweater.

" how come I have a jacket and you are wearing that thin thing!"

He looked up from him sliding his shoes on and smirked at me.

" Are you seriously asking that habibti do you see how many blankets are on that couch?" He scoffed and I look over to my right the stacks of blankets stare right back at me

" ok well... those are for binge-watching time."

" yeah ok now come on." I walked over and slid my shoes on I would be lying if I said I wasn't intrigued. He grabbed the umbrella leaned up against the table and opened the door.

_

" Are you still not going to tell me?" He doesn't say a word but we finally pull up after being in the car for twenty minutes plus now.

I look over at him with a wide smile and he smirked back.

" I told you you would like it." He took me to a diner, not just any diner an old-fashioned diner.

I quickly open the door and try to speed walk to the door but he grabbed my hand.
" the food isn't going to run away baby." He chuckles and opens the door. The little bell rang and the smell of buttermilk pancakes

Just as we walk in the roar of the thunder makes its presence known.
He placed his hand on my back calming my nerves before they even started up.

he tried to move from the door but I refused. we can't just walk into the people's establishment like that

"it's self-seating," he said low enough for only me to hear we found a random table not too far into the restaurant since it wasn't that busy given the time we showed up here.
