" I swear I'm going to run you over with my SCOOTER Aahil!" I peek my head out the door confused by the yelling. The trip back to Inan was definitely an emotional one mainly for me.

And it's not because I'm pregnant even though Aahil would say otherwise. I was a crying mess when I said my goodbyes to everyone.

"Would you stop all your telling you are going to wake the damn dead up with that voice?" Haashim yelled back.

"Mind your damn business why are you even over here, to begin with?" I continue to peek out the door trying to figure out what exactly is going on especially so early in the morning. But Rahla had a good point about why Haashim was on this side of the palace.

"Am I not allowed to roam as I please?"

"No now get out of my way I need to find Aahil!" She practically shoved him out of the way he was about to do something but he stopped once he made eye contact with me. I cleared my throat and opened the door fully.

Rahla continued down the hallway while Haashim walked toward me. I was confused why someone who practically hated my guts was even in my presence. Not that I'm anyone special but this place is big enough for you to avoid someone.

"You being nosy won't get you anywhere so mind your business." He bit back out of nowhere.

I walk out and. Lose the door behind me and raise my eyebrow confused by all of this.

"You know, I don't know why you are even talking to me if you hate me so much. I don't know what crawled up your ass last night and died this morning but leave me out of it. I'm sure anyone would be confused why someone is yelling so early in the morning." He rolled his eyes and mumbled something under his breath.

" huh?"

"I said you, and that fucking abomination you're carrying needs to die." I try not to show a reaction to taking in what he said. Much less how did he know the only one who knew was his mom?

"You did a trash job bringing in your stuff so if I were you I would stay out of my way bitch before you end up." Not letting him finish I walk away. It took everything in me not to throw his ass over the railing.

But it was no longer about me I had two other people to worry about now.

I caught my breath, not realizing my pace had picked up. I open Aahils office door in the main building and see an annoyed look plastered on him.

His sister was speaking in Arabic so I wasn't able to understand the conversation.

As I walked in close, the floorboard creaked drawing everyone's attention to me.

"Is everything okay baby?" He asked in a concerned tone

"No, your brother is trying to kill me Rahla. Did you solve your issue ?"

"No, he won't admit to eating my pie." I subconsciously bit my finger, and her eyes narrowed in on me. "You ate it, didn't you?"

I nodded my head, "I'm so sorry it was just in the fridge. I didn't know it was yours but I made a new one right after and put it back!" He rubbed her temples and started laughing.

"Did you like it at least?" She asked

" Yeah, it was very good. Normally I take the top crust part off but I pretty much ate even the crumbs.

" Well, I'm glad you liked it because it was supposed to be for my book club." She stood up and chuckled another time.

"Sorry, Aahil, I thought you ate it since you're known to steal food."
