Okay Kaeya, stay focused. Maybe Albedo's just late because his car broke down!..wait, oh god what if his car broke down?!

Kaeya's intrusive thoughts kept flooding in as he paced back and fourth in front of the restaurant.

A familiar car speed into the parking lot, Kaeya's body relaxed and he let out a sigh of relief.

He watched as Albedo calmly get out of his car, even if he had just drove into a parking space like a maniac.

Kaeya's eyes lit up as their eyes met, Albedo softly smiled.

"Never thought you'd ask me out so quickly," Kaeya teased with a snicker, "Oh my god," Albedo rolled his eyes (clearly happy though).

"Reservation for Albedo Kreideprinz, correct?" The waitress asked, "Correct," Albedo nodded. She smiled, "Come with me." The brown haired waitress guided them to a two person table on the balcony.

Kaeya felt himself start to sweat every inch more they walked.

"Here you go Mr. Kreideprinz." The waitress put down two menus, Albedo thanked her with a nod and sat down across from Kaeya.

"I'll be back in a few minutes for your orders." She smiled one last time before leaving.

Kaeya could feel his heart racing as he picked up the menu with trembling hands.

They spent a few minutes in silence before Albedo spoke up.

"I didn't invite you here just to have dinner." Albedo's vicious eyes stared right at Kaeya.

Kaeya's mind began panicking.

"Oh really?" Shaky voice clearly visible.

"I really came here to confess something to you..." Albedo blinked away with his cheeks getting flushed.

"I just can't keep these feelings in anymore..."

"Kaeya--I..."

"I love yo---"

"Kaeya?" Albedo waved his hand in front of Kaeya's face, Kaeya blinked himself out of his fantasy. "Sorry," Not being able to face Albedo after that daydream, he looked away.

Albedo slightly raised an eyebrow, "Okay...as I was saying," Albedo put down his menu.

"I wanted to discuss with you, about this partner situation."

"Is there something wrong with it?" Kaeya jerked his head back up, his voice came off as desperate and panicked.

"Oh, no, no it's fine. I'm just worried, about you." Albedo gave him a pitiful look, Kaeya held back an eye roll.

"It's fine, we aren't gonna get caught. I thought I was supposed to be the one worrying about this stuff?" He joked, though Albedo didn't find it very funny.

"I wouldn't want you to lose your job because of me." Albedo sincerely said.

"And you'd let someone lose their life because of you?" He blurted.
