"Ah, Thoma!" Tsaritsa welcomed Thoma, Thoma sat down in front of her desk.

"You needed me?" Thoma asked shamefully.

"Yes, yes I did." Tsaritsa began, "Since you're new...you'll have to be given a mentor."

"A mentor? What—" "Please, don't interrupt me."

"Sorry." Thoma obeyed sheepishly.

"Your mentor will be—"

Albedo woke up to Kaeya not by his side anymore. Though he shouldn't have cared, it did hurt just a little not to wake up to his face.

He looked at the clock, 12:45.

Shit. Shit, shit, shit!
Albedo repeated in his mind as he rushed out of bed and— "Good morning Albedo!" Kaeya warmly smiled at him, he was making eggs.

"Kaeya? Shouldn't you be at work?" Albedo blinked at up at Kaeya, at the eggs, then back at Kaeya again in confusion.

"Aren't you suppose to be at work?" Kaeya gave him a smug look, which Albedo returned with a unamused look.

"Here, eat first, then go to work." Kaeya put the eggs on a plate and handed it to Albedo.

Albedo took it, still a bit confused.

"Go on, eat it," Kaeya said as he lazily laid up agaisnt the counter, his own plate in hand.

Albedo gave him a suspicious look. "I didn't poison it or anything, I honestly just want you to tell me how well I did." Kaeya smirked.

"Oh, so you want me to be your guniea pig?" Albedo joked, "Oh my god, just try it!" Kaeya whined.

Albedo smiled and took a bite. His facial expression was blank after.

"So, how was it?" Kaeya eagerly asked, Albedo looked up at him blankly.

"Is it good?" He asked, anxious for the answer.

"Oh, no, it tastes like shit." Albedo could barely hold in his laugh, he bit his lip and smiled to not laugh.

"Oh, fuck you." Kaeya rolled his eyes jokingly and took a bite of his.

The rest of their breakfast was them just talking, which both of them didn't mind. They enjoyed each other's company, even if they were completely different—they still found some way to bond over the little things.

Albedo frowned at his still damp clothes.
He looked down at his outfit at the moment, he was just gonna have to wear this until he got to his room in the headquarters.

Kaeya had already gone to work so Albedo didn't want to go snooping around in his closets and drawers for some clothes that'd fit him.

Albedo sighed as he grabbed his bag, put on his shoes and began walking to the headquarters.

Kaeya was expected to be greeted by Viktor when he entered the department, but he surprisingly wasn't.

A few people gave him dirty looks, some were whispering things like: "How can he show up to work after yesterday?".
