After the ceremony
Zhongli was helping Albedo bring his stuff into Tsaritsa (now Albedo's) office.
"Do you really think you're ready to become the boss of an organization like this? I could fill in for you until--" "Either you be quiet, or leave." Albedo coldly said.
Leave? That could mean many things coming from Albedo's mouth.
Zhongli sighed and went back to helping him with boxes.
After
"When will the funeral be for Tsaritsa?" Zhongli asked, "There won't be one." Albedo replied.
"What?!" Zhongli shouted, he didn't mean to; he couldn't control it.
Albedo looked over to him.
"Sorry..." He cleared his throat before he spoke again, "We're supposed to have a funeral for every boss." Zhongli said, voice cracking a bit.
"It's..It's a rule?" Zhongli added.
"So? I can change the 'rules' now. Right?" Albedo slid his fingers across the desk.
"Yes, but--" "We aren't having a funeral for her. Even if we did, you'd be the only one going." Albedo took a deep breath.
Zhongli grit his teeth together and looked away.
"Who even are you?" Zhongli mumbled.
Albedo smirked and turned to face him.
"I'm your boss, Zhongli."
"Goodnight dear!" Lisa shouted from her car, she had driven Kaeya back to his motel since she was the only one still sober.
Kaeya waved bye to her and walked to his motel room.
When he got in, he saw Leo sleeping on his cat tree.
Kaeya sighed, he sat down in front of his door and put his head in his knees.
He groaned then took out the drawing Albedo had made for him.
He stared it and felt the tears in his eyes form. Maybe he was just this emotional because of the alcohol in his system.
"I'm sorry." Kaeya muttered.
"I don't know what I was thinking..." tears dripped onto the paper.
"Why was I the one to walk away?"
