Kaeya and Albedo were walking together.

"I didn't know you could play the piano so well, blondie." Kaeya teased, Albedo rolled his eyes but kept a smile on his face, "There's many things you don't know about me,".

"Yeah, that would make sense since we only met a night ago." Kaeya sighed dramatically.

"You're a good singer y'know." Kaeya gave Albedo a quick smile then looked forward again, "Oh, shut up," Albedo nudged into him and laughed.

"It's true!" Kaeya whined, "You sound like you practice." Albedo's honest (but slightly teasing) tone made Kaeya chuckle.

"I don't practice that much anymore, I gave up on being a singer." Kaeya's sad smile made Albedo regret saying anything.

"Oh, I'm so---" Albedo's phone began ringing obnoxiously, "Sorry," Albedo took out his phone and turned pale when he saw who it was.

"I have to take this, I'm so sorry." Albedo backed away then started running into an alleyway (for a quieter atmosphere) before Kaeya could say a word to him.

"Tsaritsa." Albedo tried not to let his voice crack.

"Albedo, I have request..." Tsaritsa's voice sent chills down Albedo's spine.

"Yes?" Albedo cautiously answered.

"I went in your office earlier and I must say, I was quite upset to see the lack of lungs in there." You could hear Tsaritsa's ugly smile from the other end.

"I'm sorry ma'am." Albedo answered, trying to not show any sincerity or any mockery.

Tsaritsa sighed, "I'm giving you permission to kill a bystander for a pair lungs.".

Albedo kept in his scoff.

He hated when Tsaritsa said something like that, it made him feel like some helpless dog just obeying his masters orders. He couldn't decline even if he wanted to.

He took a deep breath in, "I'll get right on it ma'am, again, I'm very sorry." And then out.

"Bye now Albedo dear." Tsaritsa hung up.

Albedo kept the phone to his ear for a second longer before pushing his teeth together and using all the anger built up in his body to smash his phone onto the ground.

He took deep inhales and exhales before walking away, stepping on the broken phone in the process (he did have another pair).

Kaeya flicked his cigarette out of his hand when he saw Albedo coming out of the alleyway.

"I'm sorry about the sudden disruption." Albedo seemed more formal than before.

This, of course, worried Kaeya. "It's fine,".

"I have to go, I'm sorry again." Albedo kept his head down to not look at Kaeya in the eye before walking away.

Kaeya didn't try to stop him, but he was also curious. And being the foolish individual he was, he followed Albedo with his acknowledgment, and since everyone in L.A was too caught up in their own shit they didn't seem to care.
