The next day
Diluc took out his key but before he could unlock it, he realized it was already open.
That idiot. Diluc groaned.
He looked around Angel's Share to see it completely untouched, luckily. He looked over to the bar to see the wine glass he poured for Albedo still there, not touched.
"What a waste." Diluc dumped the wine out and cleaned the glass.
Kaeya woke up with a massive hangover that it almost made him forget everything that happened last night.
But, of course, he wasn't lucky enough to forget how much of a dick he was.
Kaeya didn't want to get up, he just wanted to stay in his bed until he eventually died and decomposed.
He plopped back down on his bed, suddenly feeling something hard in his pocket.
He raised an eyebrow than pulled out a key.
"SHIT!" He shouted as he remembered what Diluc told him to do last night.
He hopped out of bed and quickly changed, he then ran to Angel's Share with key in hand.
When he reached Angels Share, he saw it already open.
He assumed it would be better to get scolded now than later, he deserved it.
He walked in shamefully.
Diluc glared at him.
"Kaeya? Is that you?" Said a familiar voice, Kaeya looked up to see Rosaria with two other people next to her.
"Rosaria?" Kaeya felt a bit better seeing her here.
"Come hang with us! We just got here too." Rosaria smiled widely.
Kaeya smiled then nodded, heading over to the group.
"Everyone, meet Kaeya, Kaeya meet Venti and Lisa. This is her first time here." Rosaria put an arm around Lisa, she was not amused about it.
"Hey," Kaeya sat down with them.
Maybe this would help get his mind off what happened last night.
Albedo woke up on the floor of his office. He didn't remember how he got there or when he passed out.
All he could remember was that super awkward moment with Zhongli and drinking a ton.
"Ugh.." Albedo sat up, rubbing his head.
He looked down to his hand to see an empty whisky bottle.
He looked around to his a bunch of loose papers.
Some with drawings of Kaeya, and others with scribbles and him venting about what happened.
"Jesus Christ.." Albedo grabbed all the papers and crumpled them up, throwing them in the trash.
"How pathetic can I be?" Albedo muttered.
Albedo had to muster up the little energy he had left to walk to him room to change out of his clothes.
When he did, he stopped to look at himself in the mirror.
I look dead.
Albedo sighed. He had massive eye bags and he looked sickly.
"Albedo." Said a familiar echoed voice.
Albedo eyes widened. It was Kaeya's voice.
He shook his head. What was wrong with him? Kaeya wasn't that special, if he could be without him before, he could be without him now.
Get a hold of yourself! He's gone, and there's nothing you can do about it. Even if there was, I doubt he'd ever want to speak to me again.
The one thing he hated about Kaeya was that even the thought of him made him a lot more sensitive then usual.
"I'm really never going to see him again." Albedo mumbled, he looked down at his hands.
He was finally processing all of this. It didn't feel real, not one bit..but it was, he hated that it was.
"I hate you Kaeya Alberich." There's many reasons he said this.
One is because of every time he made him smile and laugh.
Another is because how he would choose this stupid city over him.
The third is because of how he didn't hate him, how he never would. How it hurt even thinking about him.
"I hate you."
