Chapter 17 : Heartbeat.

Kaeya burst into Angel's Share and quickly looked around the room, eyes landing on Albedo quickly.

"Kaeya!" Albedo almost fell out of his chair but caught himself, Kaeya sighed and calmly walked over to him.

"Can you walk?" Kaeya asked as he helped Albedo out of his chair, "Of course!" Albedo hummed, but then immediately tripped on air.

Kaeya caught him and put him up straight, he mumbled something, probably curses.

He then helped Albedo to the car.

In the car, Albedo was oddly silent.

"Are you alright?" Kaeya glanced at him while driving, Albedo didn't reply; he just looked out the window blankly.

"You know you can tell me if somethings wrong." Kaeya was gonna put a hand on his arm but backed out of the idea.

Albedo blinked at his reflection, he felt like he wanted to cry. It was probably just the alcohol though.

When they got back to the motel, Albedo had fallen asleep in the car and Kaeya had to carry him to the room.

"Albedo," Kaeya shook Albedo a little to wake him up, but of course, he didn't.

"Albedo, wake up," Kaeya shook him a little harder, Albedo groaned in his sleep as a reply.

Kaeya sighed and carefully put Albedo on the couch.

Kaeya's heart suddenly started racing as he pushed Albedo's hair out of his face.

He bit his lip and tried to ignore it then walked off into his bedroom.

Kaeya took off his shirt and threw it in his laundry basket, he changed into sweatpants and tried to get some sleep.

1:01 AM

Albedo woke up with a horrible headache, the sun hasn't risen yet but he could hear cars honking already,

"Fuck..." Albedo mumbled as he got up carefully.
He looked in the mirror and saw that he looked like a complete mess.

Albedo's eyes began to focus more and Albedo was looking at the background through the mirror, he was surprised to see he was in Kaeya's house. Soon memories began flooding back.

Albedo bit the inside of his cheek and cringed at the memories.

Albedo walked over to Kaeya's bedroom to see if he was awake.

He creaked the door open a little, Kaeya was still asleep...well that would make the most sense since it's very early in the morning.

Leo was also sleeping on top of Kaeya's legs.

Albedo felt himself smile the slightest but then shook his head and walked away.

Albedo slipped on his shoes and fixed his hair (even though it still looked messy).

He found his phone on the floor next to the couch, it must've slipped out of his pocket.
