Chapter 45 : The Idiot With A Heart.

Kaeya swung the door open, "Albedo!?" He called out but there was no one there.

Kaeya let out a sharp gasp when he suddenly felt a cold hand on his shoulder.

"Oh? Seems like he's not here right now." Pantalone chuckled softly.

Kaeya quickly turned around to see Pantalone smiling at him.

"Do you...know where he is?" Kaeya was trembling.

"Nope. My best guess would be that he's with Tsaritsa." Pantalone's smile seemed like it grew wider with every word he spoke.

"When will be get back?" Kaeya almost lost character there, but he quickly covered it up by clearing his throat.

Pantalone raised an eyebrow, "In a few minutes I'd assume.." Pantalone looked right into Kaeya's eye(s) through his mask.

"Are you..wearing an eyepatch?" Pantalone asked, "What? Oh, yeah, I got it from—" Kaeya stopped himself from speaking anymore.

"From..a mission. Yeah." Kaeya laughed awkwardly, "Oh..alright." Pantalone nodded, "I'll be leaving now." Pantalone waved bye to Kaeya and Kaeya did the same.

Pantalone walked away feeling confused while Kaeya stayed in front of Albedo's door.

About an hour has gone by and Albedo still wasn't back yet. What if something bad happened? Kaeya tried not to think so negatively.

People began to get suspicious of Kaeya and had even went up and asked him if he was okay.

"I'm so glad Dottore decided to help you." Said an ominous voice coming from the stairs.

"Yes. Tsaritsa, when will be back taking orders?" Said another, but this time Kaeya knew exactly who it was.

Kaeya quickly turned his head to the stairs to see Albedo and Tsaritsa walking down.

"You should be back to taking orders soon enough." Tsaritsa smiled.

Kaeya suddenly stood up straight to act for Fatui-ish (even though most of the Fatui have horrible posture).

"Oh, look at that, it seems you have a visitor Albedo." Tsaritsa stared right into Kaeya's eyes, Kaeya couldn't tell if she figured it out or not.

Albedo looked at Kaeya with no emotion, Kaeya's heart was racing. Viktor was right, he was really right.

Albedo was alive.

"I'll leave you two be, I have a lot of of organizing to do." Tsaritsa nodded at Kaeya and Albedo then left.

Kaeya took a deep breath.

Albedo waited for Tsaritsa to walk off before he spoke.

"What do you need?" Albedo sounded tired.

Kaeya looked around then grabbed Albedo by the wrist, pulling him into his room and shutting the door behind them.

"What the hell?!" Albedo shouted as he got out of Kaeya's grip.

"What do you think you're doing?!" Albedo yelled as he tried to get Kaeya out of the way of the door.

"Albedo, it's me!" Kaeya shout-whispered as he took off his mask.

Albedo stopped struggling and he just stared at Kaeya with shock. His shock soon turned into a terrified look.

"You can't be here Kaeya, they'll kill you." Albedo said with that same look plastered on his face.

"What? Albedo, I just found out that you were alive. I can't just leave you here!..I mean, I watched you die, I—" "I know. But if you don't leave I'm gonna have to watch you die."

"But—"

"You need to leave Kaeya." Albedo looked at him with a hard expression.

Kaeya felt his heart shatter into a million pieces.

"I love you Albedo." Kaeya's voice was scratchy, was he really about to cry right now?

Albedo just looked at him with a hurt expression.

He sighed, "It's safer if you forgot everything that happened. If you forgot about me." Albedo looked away, he felt like he didn't deserve to look at Kaeya.

"I love you."

Albedo looked back at him slowly, "Kaeya, you already said th—"

"I love you.." Kaeya breathed with tears running down his face.
