Thoma paced back in fourth, thinking about what he saw in Albedo's office.
"Thoma? You have to begin your training soon." Zhongli walked in on him.
"Zhongli. Could you tell me more about Albedo? He just seems like an interesting fellow." Thoma smiled as he stopped pacing back and fourth.
"Albedo?" Zhongli thought for a moment before answering, "Well I don't think I have much to tell you." Zhongli made it clear he wasn't comfortable talking about him right now but Thoma acted dumb to it.
"What kind of people does he kill?" Thoma asked, "That's a...odd question." Zhongli sighed, "He kills whoever he can. No one specific unless he's told." Zhongli cleared his throat, "But you shouldn't be asking me questions like that, you should be training. Now, come with me."
"Would you like to grab a drink after work?" Kaeya asked with a small smile, "We could go right now if you want." Albedo obviously needed a drink after that interaction with Dottore.
"That's fine with me!" Kaeya laughed a little, that made Albedo smile.
After Albedo successfully got Kaeya out of the headquarters, they started heading to Angels Share.
"Oh what a surprise! My brother Diluc is here!" Kaeya and Albedo both sat up at the bar.
"I work here Kaeya." Diluc coldly responded.
"I know, I was just joking! Lighten up...jeez." Kaeya looked over to Albedo with a smirk.
"Anyway, can we get some wine?" Kaeya smiled at Diluc, Diluc rolled his eyes and began to prepare two glasses of wine for them.
"Here, after this you two aren't getting anymore." Diluc slid the glasses over to them. Albedo and Kaeya gave each other smug looks.
It's now been 5 drinks later, both were incredibly drunk.
Diluc had told them to get out several times but they never listened.
"I hope you're going to pay for all that." Diluc teethed.
"You know what? I forgot my wallet!" Kaeya laughed, Diluc groaned.
Albedo was staring into his wine class with a flushed face and a soft smile.
He really is beautiful.
Kaeya smiled at Albedo.
"I really appreciate all you've done for me, Kaeya." Albedo suddenly said.
That surprised Kaeya, it made his heart start beating so much he felt like he could hear it.
"Well I—" Albedo cut him off, "Sorry, that was a stupid thing to say, I think I've had too much to drink." Albedo looked away and bit the inside of his cheek.
"You're so cute." Kaeya spoke under his breath.
Albedo blinked back at him, confused, "What?"
"When you get embarrassed, it's cute." Kaeya's eyes went soft as a captivating smile formed on his face.
Albedo forgot how to breath for a second after hearing that, he could feel his heart beating out of his chest.
"You shouldn't joke like that," Albedo laughed awkwardly.
"I never said I was joking." Kaeya tucked Albedo's loose strands of hair behind his ear.
It felt the world around them stopped, the only thing they could focus on was each other.
Until Diluc ruined it.
"You need to leave, we're closing in 20 minutes." Diluc grabbed the bottle of wine and put it back, "I don't need you two flirting with each other in front of me as well." Diluc rolled his eyes.
"Yeah, we should really go." Albedo grabbed onto Kaeya's wrist and brought it down from his face. He tried to hide the smile on his face but it failed.
When they got outside, it was dark. They hadn't realized how long they've been in the tavern.
"Shit." Albedo sighed, Kaeya just smiled.
"Your motel should be clo—!" Kaeya put his hands around Albedo's waist, Albedo was too shocked to speak.
"You're so beautiful." Kaeya brought him into a hug, putting his face into Albedo's shoulder.
"That's very kind of you Kaeya but you're drunk." Albedo was about to push him away until Kaeya began talking again.
"Don't say that. I really mean it, it's not just because I'm drunk." Kaeya sighed softly, Albedo's heart melted when hearing that, he sounded so sincere.
"I think I want to spend the rest of my life with you Albedo Kreideprinz.", "No, I know I want to spend the rest of my life with you." Kaeya hiccuped.
Albedo felt his heart drop when he heard that, but it felt different then usual, it didn't feel good.
Albedo bit his lip and hugged Kaeya back.
I finally figured out what I feel towards you Kaeya.
Albedo fought back tears.
I've unfortunately fallen in love with you.
