Chapter 34 : A Dove In A Cage.

Kaeya eyes slowly opened, he was sitting in a chair surrounded by darkness.

"What the.." he tried to get up but his hands were tied together.

He struggled some more but he suddenly heard the door opens

The lights turned on, revealing Childe and the surrounding that were Childe's office.

Kaeya grit his teeth together when he saw him.

Childe closed the door behind him and spoke, "Calm down, I'm not gonna hurt you." Childe grabbed a chair and sat in front of Kaeya.

"Not yet at least." Childe chuckled, Kaeya did not find that funny.

"Let me go you ginger bitch!" Kaeya shouted, "Why would I let you go? You know too much about the Fatui because of some traitor." Childe said.

"Albedo...what did you do to him?" Kaeya looked at him coldly, "Oh, nothing yet, he still hasn't waken up." Childe smirked.

Kaeya looked down, biting his lip.

"He said something about someone named Tsaritsa, that's your leader right? I'm sure me and them could work out an arrangement!" Kaeya sheepishly blurted.

"He mentioned something about her?" Childe laughed, "He's gonna get a bigger punishment now."

Kaeya wanted to smack that annoying smirk right off of Childe's face.

"I doubt you'd be able to make an arrangement with her." Childe looked away looking bored. "But you could become a Fatui member if she agreed to it." Childe said.

"What?! No! I would never become one of you!" Kaeya yelled, Childe looked back at him.

"Albedo is one of us as well," Childe tilted his head.

"No he's not. And he never will be." Kaeya said as his body tensed up, how could Childe even say something like that?

"He's not the perfect, kind, caring man you may think he is," Childe stood up.

"He's killed countless people even before the Fatui. He's meant to be one of us, and after I kill you he will be able to go back to how he was before, how he's meant to be." Childe took out a knife from his pocket.

"I thought you weren't suppose to kill me." Kaeya looked up at him, not even a hint of fear in his eye(s).

"I'm sure she'll let me sooner or later." Childe lifted Kaeya's chin up with his knife.

"She never said I couldn't hurt you though." Childe smirked then put the knife to Kaeya's cheek and slowly cut it in a perfect line.

Kaeya bit his lip to distract himself from showing any weaknesses, he saw a droplet of blood drip into his lap.

Someone knocked on the door, which made Childe sigh and put the knife away.

The knocking got louder.

"Coming." He said, annoyed.

When he opened the door he saw Dottore.

Childe was shocked, Dottore had never visited Childe, he honestly barely even talked to him.
