Kaeya woke up from the screeching sound of his cat's hungry meows.

Kaeya gave his cat an unimpressed tired look and meowed back at him, his cat looked at him, confused.

Kaeya looked at the time:

5:45.

He groaned and got up.

He put on a shirt just in case if Albedo was still there, which Kaeya soon found out he wasn't.

Kaeya fed Leo and himself.

He felt off though, he couldn't stop looking at the place Albedo was sleeping last night.

When he's realized he was staring there he made himself snap out of it.

Leo meowed at Kaeya and hopped up onto the counter where Kaeya's phone was.

Leo circled around the phone for a second then sat next to it.

"I should text him," Kaeya sighed then but his lip.

"But he's probably busy, I mean, I don't know how early he starts working." Kaeya picked up Leo and put him back down on the floor.

Leo meowed and meowed before Kaeya gave in and texted him.

[Kaeya] Hey, I just wanted to make sure you got home safely.

[Albedo] I'm sorry about last night. I really didn't mean to worry you.

[Kaeya] No, no it's fine.

[Albedo] I left your keys on the counter, I'm sorry again, have a good day at work Kaeya.

Kaeya's eye widened as he stared at that last message.

Have a good day?
Kaeya felt like he was melting, a wide smile curved on his face and he texted back:

[kaeya] You as well!

Albedo sighed at Kaeya's message, "Fuck." He muttered as he put his head on his desk.

Someone suddenly opened the door, which made Albedo lift his head up immediately.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to startle you." Zhongli said, but he didn't seem the slightest bit sorry, he really didn't seem the slightest bit of anything.

"Could you knock next time, Jesus Christ..." Albedo stood up, "I'll try to remember." Zhongli took a deep breath before speaking again, "Tsaritsa would like to see you.".

Albedo looked at Zhongli; confused.

"Why?" He asked, "I'm not sure, you'll have to find out." Zhongli replied.

Albedo groaned quietly.

"She has to go to a meeting soon so please hurry." Zhongli moved out of the doorway so Albedo could get through, Albedo nodded as a response and left.

Albedo knocked three times on Tsaritsa door, coming in when he heard a sign to do so.

"Albedo, please, come sit." Tsaritsa's empty smile always sent chills down Albedo's spine.
