Chapter 33

Ackley's POV

I heavily sighed and lay on my bed. Sumasakit na din ang ulo ko dahil sa puyat at kulang sa kain. I opened my eyes at kinuha ang phone ko, I want to hear her voice, I want to see her sweet gummy smile. Mawawala pagod ko kapag nakita ko siya.

I was going to call Alie when my other phone rang. Inis akong bumangon at kinuha ang phone sa table. I immediately answered it.

"What?" I asked, irritated.

"Don't be mad at me Hampton, you have a meeting tomorrow with your Grandpa. Also, they want to train you para mapirmahan at makuha mo na ang posisyon," my secretary said on the phone.

Again, I heavily sighed. "Okay."

I was about to hang up the phone pero nagsalita pa siya na ikinainis ko. I need to call my Alie right now!

"And don't worry, ako na ang maghahanda ng plane ticket mo papunta sa Canada–" I cut her.

"The fuck?! No, hindi ako aalis!"

I calmed down myself, hindi pwedeng iwan ko si Alie dito. She needs someone to be with her, she needs me. If I leave her, wala nang magpupunas sa luha niya. I won't leave.

"Sorry to say this, lumalala na ang sakit ng Lolo mo… he wants to see and talk to you in person. If you're thinking that na hahayaan ko ang babaeng mahal mo, leave it to me. Ako na ang magbabantay sa kanya, remember… I'm already 21 and you're just 17 turning 18," pagpapaliwanag pa ni Sarah.

I looked at the picture frame beside my bed. It's my Alie's picture, tumingin ako sa isang picture at napabuntong hininga. We're smiling on the camera and we're on the beach at that time.

I gritted my teeth because of frustration. I can't leave her, hindi ko nga kaya na hindi marinig ang boses niya kada-minuto.

"No, I won't leave and that's final." I hang up the phone at hinagis ito sa lamesa.

Inis akong humiga at kinuha ang phone ko na nasa kama. I heavily sighed for the third time, I guess? I need my Alie, siya lang ang makakapagpawala ng pagod ko. She's my medicine.

Natawa ako nang mahina, wala pang ilang segundo ay nasagot na niya ang tawag ko. Bumungad ang maingay na background and I think, she's with her cousins.

"Why po Ayi?" her sweet voice full my ears.

I smiled. "I missed you my Alie, what's with the nickname?" I chuckled.

Hindi na maingay sa background niya so I guess she's on her room right now. I heard her closed a door.

"Kasi gusto kong gawan ka ng nickname, pangit ba?" she asked which made me smile.

This silly girl really knows how to make me smile.

"It's cute, it suits me na cute din," pagbibiro ko.

She laughed. "Tanga, kahit hindi kita bigyan ng cute nickname ay cute ka pa rin."

Fuuuuuuccckk!!!

I bit my lip to stop myself from shouting. Para akong tangang umikot-ikot sa higaan habang yakap ang unan ng Alie ko. I stood up and stared at myself on my mirror at tumalon-talon habang nakangiti.

I'm cute! I'm fucking cute HAHAHAHA!

"H-Hoy, nandyan ka pa ba?"

I stopped on jumping and stood up straight. Hindi mawala-wala ang ngiti sa labi ko, she's making me crazy every seconds!

"Y-Yes?" I asked and jumped on my bed like a kid.

"M-May gusto akong s-sabihin…" My smile widened.

"What is it my Alie?"

"Ahmm, p-punta ako diyan–"

"SURE!"

Agad akong napatayo and because of the excitement ay pumayag na kaagad ako. Shit, she's coming but I'm didn't take a bath yet. I smelled myself and nodded, I'm still refreshing pa naman but I will still take a bath so I can give her an infinity hugged.

"Hindi ka naman excited 'no?" she chuckled.

Napasuntok-suntok ako sa hangin. Biglang nawala pagod ko, I'm fucking happy!

"Aalis na ako–" I cut her.

"No! I'll pick you up, stay there and wait for me Bibi," I said and immediately ran towards my huge closet and pick a clothes.

"O-Okay, papatayin ko na muna. Ingat ka po." After she said that the call end while I'm here, nahihirapang pumili ng susootin.

Agad akong naligo nang mabilis and I wore a white t-shirt and a white shorts but not that short. I sprayed my Sauvage Dior perfume on myself and wore my white shoes. And I'm ready to go!

"Oh wait."

Agad kong kinuha ang black shades ko at sinuot ito. I smiled and made my way outside. Nakababa na ako at nadaanan ko si Mom and Dad na nag-aayos ng mga papeles and I damn know na ibibigay nila sa'kin mamaya 'yan.

They looked at me and my outfit. Lumapit ako kay Mom and kissed her forehead.

"Susunduin ko si ang Alie ko, Mom," I said when she started to looked at me with those little eyes.

She smiled. "Okay anak! Enjoy!"

I nodded at Dad and he nodded back. Agad akong tumakbo palapit sa kotse ko at sumakay para paandarin ito. While I'm driving, I'm smiling like an idiot.

But my smile fades when my phone rang and Sarah's name showed up. Sinagot ko ito.

"What–"

"You're Grandpa! Nasa delikadong sitwasyon na siya! He's on the hospital right now!"

Napa-preno ako at napatitig sa phone. Napapikit ako nang mariin at hinayaan ang mga sasakyan na nasa likod ko. I looked at the way towards Alie's house. Huminga ako nang malalim at mabilis na pinaandar ang sasakyan.

"B-Buy me a p-plane ticket."

Pinatay ko ang phone at binato ito sa kung saan. I gritted my teeth at dahil sa bilis ng pagmamaneho ko ay nakarating kaagad ako. I stopped my car, malayo sa bahay nila Alie. Sinuntok ko ang manubela at sumigaw.

I don't know, I don't know what to fucking do.

My Grandpa is in danger but I can't leave Nathalie! Gulong-gulo na ako! I became happy just a fucking one hour and now this?!

I'm sorry my Alie.
