Chapter 27

"San ka nag admission test?" Andrew asked. He's sitting in our dining chair. Picking malunggay leaves one by one. Natalo siya sa pustahan nila ni Charles kaya ginagawa niya ang pina uutos ni Mama kay Charles.

"Rockwell.. Golden Coast.." lumunok ako "Green Valleys..."

Kung ako ang tatanungin.. gusto ko talaga ang Green Valleys kaso, andun si Calvin. Hindi ko alam kung kakayanin kong makipag kita sa kanya... I mean.. I'm not really sure.. It's been 8 months.. all shall be well right?

Besides this week is supposed to be the week where the Admission Results will be out. Ngayong linggo ko pa lang maf-finalize ang decision ko.

"I like Green Valleys" Andrew said "I think I might go there.. kung di ako makapasa Westhills nalang uli"

Kumunot noo ko "Ayaw mo ba sa Rockwell? 'Yun ang second choice ko"

"Ayoko andun si Oli" sabi niya "Bakit ano ba first Choice mo?"

Napalunok ako "Golden Coast"

Ang totoo.. Green Valleys talaga ang first choice ko. Iyon din ang university na gusto ni Papa at Mama... matagal ko na tinitignan ang school na 'yon kahit may kamahalan.. kaso, baka naman mamaya hindi maging maayos ang buhay ko sa Green Valleys kasi andun din si Calvin... hindi ko alam. Bahala na.

Alam kong mali ako sa nangyari.. but that was the choice I saw back then. I told Yani and Charles about it and they both respected my decision... kaso nga lang they still encouraged me to talk to Calvin and I didn't listened to them.

Did I regret it? Maybe. Maybe yes.

But Calvin was better off without me. He'll realize that soon.. He can do way way better than me. I'm too much to repair... I don't want him to grew tired eventually.

This is what's good for him

Liking him wasn't enough. I don't deserve what he give. He's too good.. he's almost perfect.

Dahil tinatamad akong magluto inuto ko si Andrew na inuutusan din ni Mama si Charles na magluto kahit ako naman talaga ang nakatoka d'on. Naniwala naman si tanga kaya siya na ngayon ang nagluluto.

Tumaas nalang ako sa kwarto para maligo. Pagkatapos namin mag lunch ay pupunta kami ni Andrew sa Westhills para kunin ang requirements namin. Mabuti at hindi kami b-byahe dahil ginagamit na niya ang kotse ng papa niya.

"Luto na?" Tanong ko pagkatapos mag ayos

"Mang-gagamit" Andrew hissed

"Uto-uto" I smirked

Tsaka dami naman nyang reklamo, bulanglang lang naman at fried chicken ang lulutuin niya. Nung 3rd quarter nga palagi siyang dito nagd-dinner dahil magka grupo kami sa PR2. Hindi naman ako nagreklamo kahit malakas siya kumain.

"Hindi ka ba sasama kumuha ng requirements Charles?" I asked after eating. Now I'm tying my shoes.

"Basa pa buhok mo Charlotte" I felt a cloth damping all through my head and drying it. Tapos inabutan niya ako ng suklay.

"Thanks" I told Andrew and I got up after accepting the comb and tying my shoes.

Andrew clang to us for the past few months for unknown reasons. I think he's trying to move on from that Oli thingy. May nabanggit sya sakin but it was just a brief information. I didn't really know that much but I think he genuinely liked Oli.
