CHAPTER THIRTY-EIGHT | A DAY WITH YOU
Dominic
I HANDED a flower bouquet my Mom and Bia and greet them both because it's mother's day today. Kaya I decided to celebrate my sister as well because she became a mother figure in the family when Mom's not around. She guided Venice too and I'm so proud of Bia.
I eyed the bouquet of tulips and violets then smile.
“For Heart,” tugon ko. “I cannot join the dinner tonight but I already paid the reservation as my gift to both of you. I'll treat Heart out on a date with the kids.”
“Totoo na ba iyan Kuya? Baka mamaya maghiwalay na naman kayo,”
“We're still not in a relationship, Bia, but I'm courting her again. With the help of our kids.” “Happy Mother's Day to both of you,” sambit ko saka niyakap ko silang dalawa.
“Bring those muffins. Heart likes it back when we were in Scotland, and can you borrow Millie for a day. I want to meet her.” Mama said to me.
Gaya ngayon, I talked to Mr. Lorenzo the other and he said that her daughter needs a break. The Lorenzo treated Heart as their own and guided her on the journey to motherhood.
“Kuya puro babae ang anak mo. Sabi nila karma mo daw iyan kasi playboy ka dati,” I eyed Bia and she just made a peace sign. “But I want to meet Millie too.
“And kulit,” dagdag ni Venice. “She has a lot of stories to tell about their neighbor's dog and customers in the convenience store.”
After going out with Carlos, I dropped by at the convenience store or the mansion to visit Millie. It's hard but I couldn't compared the struggles I'm feeling right now to what Heart had experienced before.
I have to show her how sincere I am now. I will do anything just to win her back.
“We'll go ahead now. Enjoy the rest of your day today,” I said to them.
“Dominic, win her back please?”
“I will do that, 'Ma. Don't worry.” I smiled and asked Venice to come with me now.
