Gina's POV

"E, really want me to?" It was a few days after Valentine's Day and I was at EJ's house, helping him babysit Asher. He was watching TV and we were having our own conversation.

"I really want you to" EJ takes his hand in mine. EJ's big Waterpolo game was coming up and he wanted me to wear his letterman jacket. "Everyone on the team who is dating someone has their boyfriend or girlfriend wear their letterman jacket on game days and since tomorrow is a game day, I want you to wear my letterman jacket. Please?" He smiles down at me with those teal eyes of his that could turn red anytime.

"Of course, Eej. I'd love to."

"That's my girl" EJ grins, wrapping his hand around me. "What you doing?" Asher turns back at us.

"I'm just talking with Gigi" EJ kisses and leans on my forehead. "Eww!" Asher groans before closing his eyes and looking back at the TV. EJ and I just laugh before focusing on ourselves. "Do the others ever come to your games?"

"Nah, but it's okay, they don't really understand Water Polo anyway. Really, it's okay if they don't go, Uncle and Aunt are always working, so it's really just the game then drive myself home." That's so awful, maybe I should change that.

My phone rang as Nini said she was here to pick me up. I grab my bag, kiss my boyfriend one last time, gave Asher a big hug, then walked downstairs to the front door.

"Forgetting something, babe?" EJ takes me into his room and holds out his letterman jacket. "Almost forgot" as I take the jacket, I open the door. He blows me a kiss and I pretend to grab it before walking out.

(The next day)

I drive to school with Nini and we meet Ricky skating. "Nice jacket, I think EJ has something just like it" he grins. I look down at the letterman jacket I decided to wear. "So it's really official" Nini nudges me.

"Guess so," I smile. I am honestly really happy to wear this. I love being EJ's girlfriend and I can't wait to show it off.

I join my friends as we enter the school. Right away, people started to whisper, talk, and point at me. I know EJ probably has dated his fair share of girls at school before, but I guess he has never had any of them wear his letterman jacket before, this was the first time.

I wasn't scared of what people think of me, I would just give them a glare and they'd stop. "Guess when you're dating EJ Caswell, you'll get talked about, huh?"

"They just shocked," Nini says. "EJ's never really been one of those stereotypical jocks who flirts with every girl at this school."

"That's what makes him lame" Derek says as he and the other jocks pass. "No, it's what makes you guys gross," Ricky says. "Not everyone at school wants to see you fail to flirt with a girl."

The other boys "ooh" but Kevin just grabs Ricky's jacket and pins him against the wall. "Better watch yourself, demon. Andrew may not be here, but I'll still make your life miserable."

"Never...call me...a demon" Ricky grits his teeth. That's another sign that you should run from Ricky. We all made our own signs just for fun. Ricky gritted his teeth. Nini puts her hair up. EJ tilts his head. And I smile sinisterly.

"Back off, Derek" EJ shoves him off. "Listen to the captain, Co-Captain."

"How do want this to go, EJ? Hate to show you up in front of the group. You already lost your parents, gotta lose your title too?"

I can see that got to EJ, but he blows it off. "I'm not losing anything...cause you're gonna walk away...and stay away from mt friends...or I'll really show you what it means to 'show you up.'"
