Wakas : CLAUDIUS POV
“Tangina! Dude ano bang problema mo?!” galit na singhal ng lalaking inupakan ko ng suntok. I clicked my neck at tinignan siya ng matalim.
“You get in my way and I'm gonna punch you until you fall off the cliff, understand me?” I said with spine-chilling voice. Nanginginig na tumango ang lalaki sa akin at kaagad na tumayo at tumakbo palayo.
Pumasok ako ng kotse ko at tiningnan ang aking cellphone.
5 missed calls from Dad.
I blew a hard breath.
“When will this end..”
I called him. “Hello dad?”
“Goodness, gracious Claudius! Where are you?” Mataas na boses na tanong ni Papa sa kabilang linya. I roamed my eyes around the empty and foggy street.
“None of your business..”
“It's my wedding day! Importante na nandito ka, you're my son!”
“Oh, I wish. I am not.”
“Claudius!” He raised his voice, probably irritated at me. It is his fault that he's marrying another woman after my mother.
“Stop it, dad. Hindi ko kailan matanggap kong magulang ang bago mong babae, kung sa‘yo okay lang. Sa akin hindi.” I said in a hard tone at pinatayan siya ng tawag.
Huminga ako ng malalim at ipinikit ko ang aking mga mata.
“Damn, Mama..I just don't want you to be sad..” I murmured silently.
“This is a disgrace! Your son, Carlos! Almost killed two boys just because he got bullied? Ano ang gagawin natin sa kanya? Claudius will be the downfall of the Cavallore Empire!” The woman who my dad fucking marry exclaimed with a dramatic sighs said inside our library, napatigil ako sa paglalakad at huminto sa gilid ng pinto para pakinggan ang susunod na sasagot.
“Stop, Atonnia. He just needs a motherly guide.”
“I'm trying to understand him, Carlos! Pero ang tigas ng ulo niya, he didn't come to our wedding and also he almost made a scandal at our wedding!”
“Calm down, Mom..I suspect we have to think it through to get to tame Claudius. Nawawala na siya sa kanyang tamang landas. He needs something that can straighten and make his life clear..”
“So, what do you suggest, Ezekiel?” Konting katahimikan ang bumalot sa loob ng library, aalis na sana ako dahil wala na rin naman akong naririnig pero napatigil nang nagsalita si Ezekiel.
