Nakita ko si Papa na tinutukan ng baril ni Ezekiel at bago pa ako makakuha ng hininga ay kinasa niya na ang gatilyo ng baril at ipinutok iyon sa harapan ni Papa.

“There’s just one reason behind this. It’s either because he wants to assassinate someone close to Claudius so he can trigger him or other reason Ms. Clemonte…” Police Lieutenant Mijares said, looking at me with unfathomable emotion in his eyes. As if he suspects something.
I shook my head. “I-I don't know what you're talking about. Wala. Nililigawan lang ako ni Ezekiel at at at…” Napatigil ako sa pagsasalita ng parang nauubusan ako ng hangin.
“Calm down, ma'am…”
“I think this is enough, Mijares.”

“Fuck.” The stern man cursed.
“Just one last question, Ms. Clemonte. What are your relation with Mr. Ezekiel Falco?”
“I-I rejected him…hindi ko na siya pinayagan manligaw sa akin…” sabi ko at nag-isip pa ng ibang rason. Pero nang wala na akong maisip ay umiling ako.
“That’s it…”
He nodded at me. “You can stay for a while Ms. Clemonte. We are preparing a witness for your case. A written affidavit will be proposed for the first trial. Kumain ka muna before you leave. ” sabi niya.
Ginabayan ako ng babaeng pulis sa isang pulang sofa. Umupo ako roon nakatulala. Hindi ko alam ano ang susunod kong gagawin dahil paulit-ulit na pumapasok sa utak ko ang scenario kanina.
“My apologies for earlier. Are you feeling okay now?” I heard a baritone cold voice from someone. Napaangat ako ng tingin at nakita ko ang lalaking pulis na mukhang masungit.
He looks at me as if he's checking me if I was okay.
Binaba ko ang tingin ko at huminga ng malalim. Hindi ko siya sinagot.
“You’ll get no answer from her, Arson. Let her rest.” sabi ng babae sa lalaking mukhang masungit.
Arson shook his head before muttering a curse. “Fuck. Augustine is fucked for this.” He cursed before he went out of that door. Hindi ko na nga rin napansin na nakalabas na rin iyong si Police Lieutenant Mijares dahil sa pagkatulala ko.
“You can rest for now, Ma'am..”
Halos hindi ko marinig ang boses ng babae sa sobrang ingay ng nasa ulo ko.
“Pakiusap lubayan niyo ako! ”

Suddenly, I remembered that Ezekiel is Claudius' step brother and he and Claudius had a feud over the family. Naalala ko rin iyong nangyari noong nasa club kami. Claudius punched Ezekiel but after punching the devil, I saw the glint of evilness in Ezekiel's eyes after it. He's a psycho..Could it be because Ezekiel wants to seek revenge?
But, Penelope, consider the other reason. Sabi ni Police Lieutenant, may posibilidad na may iba pang rason kung bakit iyon ginawa ni Ezekiel. Does it have something to do with me?
I sigh. Pilit pa rin na pumapasok sa isipan baka kasalanan talaga ni Claudius. He punched Ezekiel so it might be Ezekiel's revenge! But I don't think Ezekiel's petty for having revenge just because someone punched him!
