Terry POV:

"We're all here?" Amaya said.

Everyone nodded.

"I'll go in and then out. 'Kay?" I said.

Everyone glanced at each other.

"Realx, it'll be quick," I said.

I went through the portal, pulled a hood over my head and turned invisible. I looked around for a while and came across a school. I floated through the doors and checked in every classroom. When I stumbled across sixth grade, I saw something so peculiar. My eyes went wide as I noticed a young girl. She glanced over at the door, and her eyes went wide. She smiled. Could she see me? She then held up her hand and was excused to leave the room. She went outside the room.

"We can't talk here," She said, and she led me outside. "Alright." I landed on the ground and revealed myself. "Whoa, you're really cool. Like, you're cold."

"What's your name?" I asked.

"I'm Ava."

"Okay, I'm Terry."

"What do ya' need?"

"I'm starting a team of people, and I could use your help."

"What'cha need help with? I'm really good with technology and engineering."

"Wow, you'll do nicely."

"Really? I'm in?"

I nodded.

"You ready to go?"

"Yes, I will tell the office I have to go home."

Then for the next few seconds we stood there awkwardly. Ava ran up and hugged me.

"Thank you," She said, before running back inside.

I liked her already. She looked like she'd help us A LOT!

We gave Ava animal powers. (Most people don't technically consider it an element). She looked like she wanted it. Ava was just the best. She was friendly and helpful and knew a lot about us. I began training her the day after she first arrived. She was catching on with her powers well. Not to mention, Ava wasn't kidding when she said she was pretty good with technology. It wasn't long before she was digitally designing weapons like guns that looked too freaking awesome to be true!
