PART ONE: The Power of the 8 Elements team starts off as freshmen in high school, not knowing what they are stepping into and how destructive it'll be.
PART TWO: When all seems normal, Celeste and Lucifer make a mistake that puts their lives in dang...
The next morning I woke up feeling extra, extra refreshed (which was weird considering what happened last night with my parents). I looked in the mirror at my waist-length hair. Then I took a pair of scissors and cut it to the point where it was a little bit between shoulder length and armpit length. It looked better this way, I must admit. Finally embracing my demigod nature, I decided to go to school looking the way I normally did. Obviously my teachers would have a billion questions, and I'd give them the answer. I'm in a history textbook. I put on a light blue turtleneck cold-shoulder sweater, jeans, and navy blue flats. I glanced at my desk and realized that Skrael, Nari, and Bellroc had left three gifts for me. Nari had given me a snowflake choker. Bellroc gave me a deer pendant. And Skrael gave me icicle earrings that were long enough to reach my shoulders.

"Thank you," I said.
I went downstairs expecting breakfast but paused. Mom was still mad at me. Dad was at work being an Auror—basically like the police of wizards and witches (yes, good news to all you Harry Potter fans). I put in two slabs of toast and took out the butter.
Terri came downstairs. "Good mornin-WHOA!"
"Hi," I said, fluttering my wings.
"You're going to school? Like that?"
"Skrael told me to embrace my demigoddess nature."
"You spend too much time with Skrael."
"Skrael gets me," I said.
I waited for my toast to pop up and I sat at the table with Terri who fixed himself some breakfast. I took a bite of my toast.
"So Mom and Dad are still mad at us," Terri said, combing his hair.
"It appears so. I didn't think that they'd be so upset." I finished my toast quickly, "I can't wait for school."
"Did you literally just say that?"
"Yes, come on, let's go."
"Terry, what are you doing?" Amaya said through gritted teeth.
