"Hmmmm...." Xan said, examining Skrael's staff. "Very peculiar."
"What's peculiar?" Bones said.
"This staff. It appears to have more power than the others. It's amazing that you were able to snag them before the Arcane Order got to you. The Arcane Order has been around for eons. They are wizards from an entirely different world other than Toyland."
"Xan, what do we do with these?" Ferdinand said, looking at Nari's.
"Well, you can't use them," he said. "They can only be accessed with either fingerprint recognition or if they have been given to you by the owners."
"There's no way that Bellroc is going to let us use her staff," Lucifer said, twirling it.
"We could destroy them?" Glamour said.
"Impossible," Xan added. "The only way they can be destroyed is with a magical weapon. Yours, I'm afraid, would not work for it."
"We can keep it?" Amaya said.
Ava gasped. "I have an idea. We know that they stole the database. Why don't we offer a trade? We'll ask for the chip in return that they get the staffs."
"It's not a bad idea," Terri said.
"All we have to do is get to the palace without dying," Joe added.
"I wish you good luck on your adventure," Xan said, "But be wary. The Arcane Order are not easily convinced."
