Phoenix POV

"I'm back," I said, disapparating into the room.

"Phoenix!" Bellroc said, giving her a hug.

Skrael suddenly walked into the room with an all-too happy grin on his face. He was still sick, though.

"Hey, Bell! Phoenix," he said. He coughed but still seemed happy.

Bellroc raised an eyebrow, "You look too happy. What did you do?"

"Okay, it's actually really funny. Here me out. Can a person breathe inside a washing machine while it's on?"

"Uh...where's Nari?" Suddenly Bell took off down the hall.

"Did you actually put her in the washing machine?" I asked, "When I gave it to you guys, I didn't think that you'd use it for that purpose."

"She was asking for it," Skrael said.

"You don't sound any better."

Skrael gasped, "What happened to you?"

"What about me?"

Skrael pushed me into a mirror. I had a large bruise around the side of my chin and several cuts near my forehead.

"What happened?" he asked.

"There was a robot," I said, "It's gone now, but it was a bot that we call the Seamstress."

"The Seamstress?"

"It was Terri's idea. Oh, I forgot to tell you, I told my friends that I was a member of the Order."

"And what did they say?"

"They were fine with it. How have you been?"

Skrael coughed really harshly, and it made even my throat hurt.

"I've been through worse," he said. I hugged him. He hugged me back.

"Sometimes I wish you weren't so cute," I said.
