I disapparated and landed in a gloomy looking grey desert. There was nothing but grey sand for miles. I noticed that my bag of pixie dust was near empty, so I'd have to use what dust I had left wisely. I sprinkled some onto my wings and began quickly flying after the Evil Angel's robot which was charging right now.
"Where are your friends?" The Evil Angel asked, "Or did you get mad at them?"
I didn't answer.
"I thought the 'power of friendship' was the most important thing in the world," She said, "Oh, well. What a waste?"
She sent a mechanical arm towards me, and it slammed me towards the ground. I quickly tried to hold up the arm. She gasped at me as I held up the arm that was at least a thousand times bigger than me. Maybe a million! Using as much power as I could, I quickly blasted the arm up into the air, and it was removed from the socket. The Evil Angel growled. She shot blasts of lasers at me; I dodged and sent magic towards her. The robot opened its eye socket and revealed a huge glowing diamond.
'Was that the diamond that Cel and the others were talking about-?'
It was too late. The diamond sent a large blast of energy towards me, sending me flying halfway across the desert. I tried to stand up, but I couldn't because everything hurt. I suddenly felt myself falling. The sand was beginning to rush over the edge of a large cliff. I quickly tried to find a hard surface to grip on, but I couldn't. I tried to dig my way through the sand, but the tiny minerals were rushing over the edge too quickly. My pixie dust bag had already fallen over the edge, so even if I did fall, I wouldn't be able to fly.
"No, no, no," I said, realizing that this was how I was going to die. I wasn't even sure if this cliff had a bottom. Maybe it did. Maybe it didn't. But if I fell off, that'd be the end of me. As I looked up, I saw the robot galloping off. I realized that I wasn't going to be able to do this without my friends.
I then fell off the edge. Suddenly something grabbed my arm and flung me onto the desert sand. I stood up and dusted the sand off my armor which was still glowing by the way.
"Thrax?" I said.
"Don't mention it," he said, "Now what kind of idiot are you to think that you can challenge the Fabrication Machine by yourself?"
"That's what it's called?"
"By the way, your voice is annoying."
It kind of was.
"Let me guess, you tried to be the hero. I'll tell you a secret, that's not how everything works. One of these days you're going to have to realize that you'll need other people to do the work for you or with you. And I prefer 'for'. But that's not how you and your friends work, is it?"
I nodded. He looked around and sighed. He moved his finger in an X-motion and the marking disappeared. He then handed me my staff.
"You froze my good hand and shot me-"
"Technically you shot yourself. You pulled the trigger."
He snarled, and I shut my mouth.
"-however...I guess that friend of yours--Lucifer--is right. There's got to more to dark ones' life than grudges, revenge, and killing. But if you tell anyone about this, I'll kill you," He said.
"Thank you," I said, standing up. "Plus I like your hair."
Thrax's looked at me for a quick second. "I hate the color, I'll probably change it back to its natural look." I smiled. "And like I said, don't mention it," He said with a grin before disapparating.
I looked around the desert. Time to find the Evil Angel on foot. Suddenly the team apparated in front of me.
"There you are!" Terri said, hugging me, "We traveled halfway across the globe looking for you," he said.
"Don't ever do that again," Amaya said.
"We nearly thought of telling the Order that we lost you," Bones said.
"Hey, Terry, where's the robot?" Glamour asked.
"Uh," I said. I'd forgotten about it.
"Uh, guys?" Ferd said, eyes going wide as a shadow towered above us. I gasped and my wings lowered. In the place of a robot stood a tall being with long fingers. She had a skirt that was made of a dark tornado-like substance and a large grin on her face. She had crooked teeth and glowing white eyes, and long stormy grey hair.
The Evil Angel laughed loudly in a distorted voice.
