"Alright class," Our history teacher said, "We will be moving on to a new subject. Ancient history."
Everyone groaned. I sat up. Skrael had told me plenty about the history of the world, and I wanted to see what other people had thought about it. My eyes went wide as she pulled up a powerpoint and revealed an image of the Order. It was our logo. Bellroc—the leader at the top. Skrael—the right hand to the right. Me—the general to the left. Nari—of nature and ground at the bottom. I obviously didn't tell anyone that I was a member of the Orde, and who would believe me?
"Excuse me, who is that?" a student asked, raising their hand.
"That we are about to get into," the teacher said, "You see, long ago, people used to believe in a group of people called the Arcane Order. They believed that the Order kept the balance between magic and mortals."
'We STILL do. Or at least try to.'
"They claimed that the Order each held control over certain two elements that were key to bringing harmony and order. The leader, Bellroc, held control over fire and time. The right hand, Skrael, held control of weather and thoughts and memories. The general, Phoenix, held control over ice and emotions. And lastly Nari, the left hand, held control over nature and souls. The Order was a group of evil and ravenous wizards who were said to destroy anyone they came across-"
I raised my hand and asked, "Is there any historical evidence to prove that sort of behavior? What did the Order do that led us to believe such thoughts?"
The class seemed surprised with my question.
"Just asking," I said.
"Well that's an excellent question," the teacher said, "You see, there were wildfires, and earthquakes, hurricanes, and blizzards and since people long ago believed that the Order had control over these things, they thought that the Order was ultimately evil."
I nodded, I still had millions of questions, but I knew I should save those for Skrael. Suddenly I began to feel different. I looked at my hands. Tiny claws. Shrinking. Oh, no. I stood up out of my chair and left the room, no one seemed to care that I was gone. I walked down the hallway and into the nearest room I could find. A room that no one would check. The janitor's closet. Luckily there was a mirror. By the time I closed the door, I felt myself shrinking. My horns grew into icy antlers. I looked at the mirror, but I was so small that I couldn't see myself in it. Luckily there was a sink that I could grab on to. I gripped the rim of the sink and tried to pull myself up so I could see in the mirror.
I fell on the ground the first three or four times. Finally I pulled myself up. I had transformed into my demigod form at school. I hit the ground again. I turned invisible and walked out of the door. Flying would only attract attention. I walked down the hallway quickly practically bumping into people as I marched feeling a little indignant and a little embarrassed. I went outside and onto the field. No one was there. I climbed over the fence and then flew off to the fortress as quickly as I could.

Nari POV
"Checkmate," Skrael said, knocking over my pawns.
I groaned. "Stop beating me. Go easy on me next time."
"I did go easy on you as I have been for the past six rounds."
Phoenix apparated into the fortress.
"Phoenix!" I said, happily standing up. Skrael looked happy, too, but he didn't smile.
Phoenix, however, looked angry.
"Um..." I said, "Hi?"
"I turned into a demigod at school! Do you realize this?! I turned into a DEMIGOD at SCHOOL!"
