Chapter 21: Graduation

(Kalia's Pov)

"You will do fine." I say

"What if I mess up?"

"Everyone makes mistakes, your not prefect even if you want to be." I say as Cody wrapped arms around my waist and I smile pecking his lips.

"I don't want to deal with the newbie vampires today.. Deal with them for me?" I laugh and wrap my arms around his neck and kissed him again. His hands tighten on my waist as I pulled away but he connected our lips again. My hands ran up to his cheeks as he backed me up and softly laid me onto my bed. He hovered over me as he leaned into the kiss more deepening it as my hands ran down his arms.

I pulled away slightly to breath, my gaze moved from his eyes down to his lips and his lips where on mine once more. Out of instinct, my hand rested on his cheek and his hands roamed the side of body. Each breath was a reminder that this was all really happening him pushing my body up onto the bed some more, his hands squeezed my hips gently as he gracefully pulled me towards him and I let out moan. His tongue ran against my bottom lip as I smiled and pulled him closer as he groaned.

His hand trailed down my curves and down to my thighs. He squeezed my thighs gently and allowed him in. I breathed heavily as our tongues grazed each other, and I felt the hot friction between us become unbearable. He lifted up my shirt and I pulled away, I looked into his eyes which where full of confusion. I sat up and he fell onto the other side of the bed.

Just like that, everything was gone the shivers that ran down my body when he touched my skin, or the feeling in my stomach as his lips met mine. It was gone.

"We should stop." I say clearing my throat.

"I thought you were-"

"Ready?" I say placing my hands on my hips turning to him.

"Babe I didn't mean to say that I shouldn't have." He said sitting up and moving over to me but I had moved to the closet.

"Yeah you shouldn't have, just because my body might be 'ready' doesn't mean my heart, and mind are ready."

"What?" He asked in confusion

"I'm not ready..."

"And I completely understand, we'll wait." I sigh as my phone went off and I picked it up.

From Alli:
Come to my room lets get ready for the Ceremony together.

To Alli:
I'll be there in a second.

"I gotta go... Alli and I are getting ready for the Ceremony tonight together." I say walking towards my closet and pulling out my dress which was in a sleeve.

"Hey," I turned to look back at Cody he came up to me and pressed his lips to mine softly. His lips melted into mine as I kissed him back, his hand rested on my cheek as he pulled away slowly. "Will we see each other before the Ceremony?"

"Probably not.. You know how long Alli takes..." I say softly he just nodded before his phone rang. He groaned before answering it.

"Yeah?" He asks "well do something about it." I kissed his cheek before leaving him and walking down our hall going to Alli's room.

(Cody's Pov)

I walked down the foyer steps and out the door heading towards the Knights Palace when I got stopped by Aria.

"You haven't been returning my calls Cody.." She said she was wearing a red low cut dress that came to only her mid-thigh and clung to her body.

"I've been busy.." I shrug
