Chapter 7: Moon.

(Kalia's Pov)

Faith is often put to the test and are hearts are full of worry. Each of us are plagued with love with it mighty strength or its most devastating weakness. These concealed feelings are what contribute crushed spirits and hearts that are broken. There is nothing we can do to escape these feelings, because the darkness of these feeling consumes us and the brighter side in us, as the light is now shadowed. Its like everyone around you is moving on with their lives while you stuck in the same place, not knowing how to move free and live your life because of the worry and the alluring dark side of love.

I worried every moment I was in the damn castle, How Jaden was going to met up with me tonight? How I was suppose to get over my fear of being myself? it pains we to even think about it. In truth, we like pain, we like it just because we think we deserve it. I believe we should just go on with life, live life to the fullest. But how can you do that if we don't know how? How can we when were afraid of what life might bring?

Cody had planned a party tonight, he was bringing his friends from Australia. Jake Thrupp, Campbell Carsley, Georgia Green, and Charlie Barker his cousin. Alli had told me Carlie, and Jake where vampires but she didn't know of the others. Great, freaking great, more vampire to deal with.

I sighed and looked out at the forest, I couldn't wait till tonight. Then I felt eyes on me, I looked to my left to see Cody shirtless, looking at me, and smoking. He smirked and I looked away and got up and locked my balcony doors. Was he staring at me the whole time?

"Kalia can I come in?" Cody asked through the door

"Yeah" I yelled walking over to my night stand and plugged in my IPhone.

"Hey." I jumped and he laughed I scolded at him and walked to my closet

"Not funny." I said looking over my shoulder to see him sit at the end of my bed.

"Eh, anyway I need you to stay in your room tonight, don't go to the party." I tuned around the face him

"Wasn't planning on going anyway, no offence but I don't want to be down stair with drunk, hormonal bloodsuckers anyway." I said walking over to a chair.

"good, I don't want you hurt." I looked at him lie he was crazy but he didn't say anything else, just walked out of my room. I instantly wanted to talk to Alli about the situation, and I found her in the living room alone, perfect

"Hey Alli can I ask you something?" I asked she looked up and nodded patting the seat next to her on the couch.

"What's Up?" she asked

"Cody," I said, "he's being really nice, not that I don't mind, but he's usually just, Cody." I said having a hard time explaining but she didn't seem to have trouble answering my question.

"Yeah, its a full moon."

"So?" I asked dumbfounded he smiled

"I cant tell you, this is my brothers deal."

"Do you know where he is?"

"He went to pick up everyone from the airport. Guests will be arriving at six- I guess Cody already filled you in?" I nodded and ran up the stairs, I cant believe she wouldn't tell me what the hell was going on with Cody.

 

Something was up with Cody, and I will figure it out even if I have to alone. I decided to change into a long sleeve shirt being it was so cold in the castle. I heard Cody's booming voice from in my room telling everyone they where home, yay... I unzipped my jacket and it fell to floor, I took of my tank top and also let it fall beside me when I heard a creak of the door.
