Chapter 32: Stable

(Cody's Pov)

I was sitting in the white stuffed chair, waiting for Kalia to wake up, it was only ten in the morning so I didn't expect her to be up until noon. I walked out and down stairs to the kitchen, I grabbed a bottle of blood and took a sip. My phone dinged and I pulled it from my front pocket.

From Dad:

The Watchers are coming for yours, and Jakes evaluation by the end of the year. Be prepared.

To Dad:

I've already told you I'm not doing it. I don't want to be apart of the Watchers.

From Dad:

Hope you get back with your silly vacation with Kalia, and start worrying about the more important things.

To Dad:

Kalia is important to me, and if you don't like it, go to hell. Kalia mean the world to me, nobody can change my mind. So piss out of my love life.

From Dad:

You have a week.

I locked my phone rolling my eyes throwing the empty bottle away. He dare he say that Kalia wasn't important? I know sometime I don't show it but, she really does. It was like my relationship with Emily, we where inseparable I always had to know where she was or what she was doing. It was my way of showing I cared, it didn't work out in previous relationships- I just had a different way of showing someone that I cared for them.

Take Kalia for instance, She was a wonderer, adventurous, and wanted to take the battle head on. She didn't really think things out before she did them, which probably got her into this mess of becoming and Alpha. But what do I know about wolves? I practically failed the high school class, I only knew how to fight them. I was born that way, I was raised and learned how to hunt and fight in battle. It had its perks of course, learning to master the hunt was difficult, and even I couldn't do it as well as my father.

I snap out of my thought when I hear the rattling of the cuffs that kept Kalia tied to the bed.

I slowly walk up the stairs taking a glance at the time to see I'm late once again for training. I open the door to see Kalus pulling on the restraints, and I shut the door which she turns all attention on me.

"What the hell is this?" She asked lifting up her arm.

"I had to at least keep you from running off again."

"If you didn't wake up at the ass crack of dawn I would've been back you would have never know." She spat. Great, she's in a bad mood, once you get Kalia in a bad mood, she angry for most of day, and sometimes she doesn't even talk to you.

"You were just gunna walk back to the castle naked?"

"No, I'd tell alive to find me give me clothes then I'd go back to the castle." She said a little bit of sass.

"Please undo this I have to go to the bathroom." I hesitate looking over to the balcony. "Cody everyone has to pee in the morning seriously? Now come on an uncuff me. I said please" I walk over to her getting onto the bed with her, pulling the key from my pocket, and reaching over to unlock the cuffs. I stepped off the bed as she rubbed her wrist before getting up. Her shirt- well my shirt, hung of her body stopping at her thighs being she was so tall. I gave her privacy and went back downstairs into the living room turning on the tv before my phone went off.
