Chapter 34: Super Moon

(Cody's Pov)

We walked down the blocks in the city just looking at the lights, occasionally stopping to rest.

"Did you hear?"

"Hear what?" She asks turning to look at me.

"There's going to be a Super Moon tonight."

"What's today?"

"The 27th." I say looking down at my phone. "Can you handle it?"

"Even strong Alphas can break because the moon is so so close."

"It's also an eclipse."

"I haven't seen or heard from Caleb lately. I don't want him to go through this alone- like I did. No matter how much I hated him and didn't want him to be my Beta, there's this feeling that Alpha's get when they don't have a pack, loneliness, depressed. I have you, but when I told Jaden about it he said that an Alpha and Beta are strong, they work together in the pack."

"Sound like something you would say after a break up." She aighs and rests her head on my shoulder as we start walking again.

We found our way to the beach, the perfect place. Kalia took off her heeled boots and I did the same we carried our shoes to a shot and we sat in the sand looking out to the water. The sun was already gone and the moon had taken its place.

I felt Kalia staring so I turned my head to look at her, she didn't turn away she just smiled before straddling my waist.

"How did I get so lucky?" She ask both hand on either side of my face.

"I think it's the other way around. How did I, Cody Simpson, end up with such a beautiful, strong, and perfect girlfriend." She just smiled and pressed her lips against mine softly. My hand moved from propping me up to her body, my hands slide down her back giving her hip a tight little squeeze as we slowly kissed. She moved closer to me her hands running through my hair, slightly pulling on it and I moaned.

I held onto her as I laid her down beside us, me hovering over her. I pulled away looking into those prefect eyes of hers before kissing her nose, then her lips, and trailed kisses down her jaw, back and collar bone, leaving marks. I trailed my fangs down her neck, as goosebumps form on her sling before, I sank them into her neck. She winced, but relaxed running her hand up my arm soothing as I fed off her.

"Cody." She said as her hand pushed on my shoulder, and I dug further sucking her blood.

"Cody!" She said sternly before her hand slide of my shoulder and her body went limp, I pull away horrified. Her pale body layed out on the sand as blood trickled down her neck, she wasn't healing. Her eyes wide open and mouth slightly parted.

"Kalia?" I said

"Kalia!" I yelled biting into my own wrist and placing it to her mouth.

"Kalia drink!" I yelled at her. But she wasn't moving or breathing years ran down my cheeks

"Cody you killed her." Jake said from behind me. "You killed her just like you Killed Emily-"

I shot up out of bed sweating and turning to look at Kalia who had this confused, worried face. My heart was racing.

"Cody what are you-" she said as I looked at her neck and cut her off with a kiss. She squealed pushing me back, and I placed my feet onto the floor.

"Cody is was just a dream." She said wrapped he arms around me from behind and placing a kiss on my cheek. I move away from her, so confused as to why I had a nightmare. I haven't had those in years, I only had them as a child.
