(Kalia's Pov)

Once again Jake didn't leave the castle. Cody put him on a two week suspension. He couldn't train the Knights with Cody, he couldn't help Cody on any business, he was simply a visitor. Let me tell you life has been great since that happened to Jake, he didn't boss me around anymore.

Unfortunately, the day after Jakes hearing, Cody had gone off the rails killing not one but three girls. He had his humanity off, which I didn't understand he had everything, everything was perfect between us. Why would he switch off his humanity?

I had come home from dropping Caleb off at his house in the early hours of the morning when I discovered a servant girl drained of blood in his room. I look around the hall which was lined with guards, people- some crying as Knights carried of their children.

"Your brothers missing." I told Alli, it was one of the busiest weeks I've ever seen at the castle, all the people wanting a trade. It was something the castle did. Every year in November they take the fist week and make it to where anyone could enter the castle ask the king and queen something and they would trade.
For example, a family had come in and asked Brad for money, in return for ten of thousands of dollars Brad took their child, and Cody would turn him and he would become a Knight. Brad never turned a Knight.

"I'm not surprised." She said we sat in a throne room, it was the first time I've seen Alli and the Simpsons-except for Cody who had been missing-wear their crowns.

"I'm left to deal with all of Cody's business plus my own. Cody takes care of war traders and land while I take care of the medical field, I make sure the castle is always stocked with blood. But now I'm tackling two jobs." She huffed.

"I can help." I offered and she nodded. We exited the throne room, and Alli laced my arm around hers.

"Have you talked to Cody lately?"

"No, he never has time for me anymore. The only thing important to him is going to clubs, and getting drunk with Jake.."

"Don't say that I'm sure he still loves you."

"He doesn't love me." I say quietly.

"What? He hasn't said it yet?" Alli asked and I shook my head.

"I said it first... I don't know why he won't say it back, am I not good enough?" I asked her.

"You should talk him into turning on his humanity." She said changing the subject.

"And get yelled at? No way. He's one hundred percent more bitchy then he was last time he turned it off, I don't want to get yelled at."

"Have you heard what he's planning?" Alli asked as we pushed through people.

"Extending Law?" I ask and she nodded.

"No offense but it's stupid, half the supernatural population in London are werewolves, we barley get any slack as it is."

"I don't want him to do it I've told him that, but Cody's hardheaded- he'll try everything."

"I know so many people that he doesn't, I'll make sure that the Law won't extend." I tell her.

"You are of a powerful bloodline." She said I nodded as we walk into Cody's office where people where also lined up.

"Where's the prince!?" A man yelled and several agreed with him before Alli looked over at me.

"He's not available right now, but we will take care of everything you need."

"I only to business with the Prince!" The same man yelled a couple men agreed with him. I saw him and looked straight at him, he was and older gentleman, his brown hair turning white, beard as well.
