Chapter 12: Stabbed Through The Heart

(Kalia's Pov)

People aren't perfect, people will hurt you, and they will disappoint you. Even the ones you trusted the most. I believe that if I'm not happy with myself, then nobody will be happy with me, and that makes me paranoid. Maybe they don't understand that they are hurting you until the work is done, your destroyed. They brought you down. You feel insecure and everything you thought you where doing right was wrong. They did this to you, and I don't think I could ever forgive them.

One Month ago.

I sat on the couch texting Jaden, Alli sitting on the over stuffed armchair in the corner.

"Have you seen Cody?" Alli asked as I sent Jaden a text.

"I think he went into the library with Jake." she nodded, and stood walking down the hall towards the library.

Jaden and I where talking about the full moon tonight and about he had to teach some betas control. I signed as I received his goodbye text, meaning he was busy. I looked around the large living room looking at the different furniture before Alli returned.

"He wasn't in there, but Jake was can you go check in his room?"

"No, He's probably with Aria..." She agreed and slouched down into the nearest couch. Cody has been spending a lot of time with Aria, they seem to always be together.

"Speak of the devil.." Alli whispers in my ear and I looked over to see Aria. I let out a small laugh, Alli and I had found another thing in common when I had first met Aria, we hated her, she was never up to any good. When Cody sat down I stood up I walked out of the living room and into the foyer. I turned to the left and went up the stairs, down a hall, and into my room.

The evening went on as usual, boring It was now dark So i shut and locked my windows, and balcony. Until there was a knock, I signed setting my book down on my bed and walked to the door. I opened it to see Cody, he let himself in and looked at me. Before I knew it he had his lips pressed against mine, I kissed him back.

I don't know why but I wrapped my arm around his neck as he the kiss became rougher, he spun me around and pressed me against the wall. His hands on both side of the wall boxing me in. His tongue ran across my bottom lip and I teased him, not letting him in. He groaned and his hands ran down my sides sending shivers down my spine. Without breaking the kiss he bent down and gripped my thighs I gasped and he slipped his tongue into my mouth.

My fingers tangled into his blonde locks, and just like that everything became clear, I was kissing Cody. Cody lips left mine and began leaving kisses down my neck, his hands gripped my hips puling my closer as my hands went down his neck and to his chest before I pushed him back, and off me. I kept my back to him for the longest time, replaying what had just happened in my mind.

"Kali-"

"I have a boyfriend Cody, and you have a girlfriend." I was quiet, he was to quiet, I turned to find him missing. I signed and walked out the door and looked around the hall, he wasn't there. I rolled my eyes and walked further slamming the door and down the stairs.

It's amazing how everything could be prefect a second ago, then change to the worst day of your life. Maybe we don't understand it fully, when something like this happens-they where there for you in the long run. But things come to a end I guess, even when we don't want then to. Life chooses when its time to go, without a nice goodbye either. As knelled over my late ex boyfriend, and best friend Jonathan I realized nothing else mattered than trying to shake him awake. Nothing was working.

When I had came down to the foyer I saw Jonathan and dropped to my knees. I ran up to him but I was wrapped into Matt's arms him holding me back. The tears where real, this was no longer any part of my game, this was real. The Simpson's face showed sympathy, I had escaped Matt's arms and collapsed, I crawled over to Jonathan desperately trying to wake him. Then I screamed tears making my voice hoarse, not a normal one, nor the scream you let out when you in trouble.
